Not at all. She showed her hatred of all the Roanoke girls through her words and actions. She finally reached her breaking point with Allegra's pregnancy.
14. How did your impression of the characters change throughout the book? Lane? Tommy? Cooper? Allegra?
The only character who changed was Cooper. He was able to grow out of the fighting/pining for Lane/flirtyness. Tommy tried to change by becoming a cop and becoming your "family man" with a wife. But he was still attached to Allegra, which held him back. Lane and Allegra remained stuck in the past of that summer.
15. What do you think will happen to Yates now that he is alone in Roanoke? Were you satisfied with this outcome?
He will keep seducing and raping. He doesn't see anything wrong with his lifestyle. It's what makes him happy.
16. Lane and Cooper are going to try to make a go of it. Can they can put the past behind them? How will the Roanoke secrets coming out change Lane's future?
Now that the truth is out in the open, they will finally be able to move forward. They were both keeping secrets from each other. Lane's pregnancy and her family secrets and Cooper knowing vaguely of the family secret was a weight that was lifted off their shoulders. They can stop focusing on trying to hide it from one another, and instead focus on their relationship.
