It definitely is a great time to start! It's an easy challenge to jump in and everyone is here to answer questions. It's also great because more experienced players an help recommend strategies.

Everything looks good so far Allecyn! It was smart of you to save a bunch of posts at the beginning so you can keep things organized (I didn't think of that at first and then had to go through and re-organize everything at some point).

I'll let someone else answer about the staff because mine is only level 1. I would say though that you might want to pick one weapon and really focus on it, as you'll only need one for a battle (until maybe you get to those complicated bigger monsters).

That's the best this I've read all day!

Basically you have the opportunity to build weapons, slay monsters, earn gold, and basically do WHATEVER you want. You can pick and choose any quests you want depending on your goals. It's super addicting and very very fun.

I agree that most of the really good YA series I've read only have 3-4 books and I finish them way too quickly.

Can someone explain "area of effect attack" to me? I saw it in the next horse quest and wasn't sure what ti was / if it's worth it.

Reva -
Could I please buy
The Outback Nurse from you please?
*hands over 3 gold

• Read a book that has a predominately green and silver cover. (3 Gold)
*takes 3 gold*

Okay I'm stretching it I admit.....
For "Read 3 books with food on the cover" do drinks count? Like spilled tea perhaps?

Okay I'm striking out on the "tooth on the cover"
Would a dog's teeth count?
AND can we see a set of teeth or do we need to see a defined tooth? ex:

Yeah imagine my surprise when I was all set to go after Correction Fluid and discovered I needed..."I agree about the essentially oily. I was all set to turn it in, but was thinking that for the 11 books I used it wasn't worth it to be for just 2 potions.

I agree with you all in terms of newcomers. I think anything we can do to encourage newbies to try this quest and give them something for missing out on a year of books!

Just checking....with the growth bauble" we can use that every time right? Not just a one battle use?

Yayyy!! Go team!

Wow congrats NancyHelen!

For spell-it-out, I can't find the rules, but can you use series names for it also? Or just characters/title/author?
