1.) Each monster has a set of required tasks that must be completed in order to vanquish the monster.
2.) Books can be used to complete more than one task, but only for the same monster. If you can find a single book that meets all five tasks, congratulations, you defeated the monster with just one book! Expect other teams to notice this and copy your choice ;)
3.) Teams/individuals can have up to 5 monsters to vanquish at any time.
4.) Monsters are assigned at random and may be repeated by the same team/individual.
5.) We like players to be creative, that's what makes this fun. However, please do not hurt yourself over thinking the tasks. If there still is some indecision, post in the Q&A thread or just find a different book.
6.) Once you vanquish a monster and get a replacement it should be considered locked and you cannot swap out books.

Yes! I have a character first name that starts with an "i"! & I've added that to the spreadsheet. Now I just have to make sure I finish it before the 28th.
Work has been too mentally exhausting these days that I couldn't do much reading... 3 days should be more than enough time to finish the remaining 300+ pages.

My favorites for this year so far~Once There Were Wolves - There is melancholic presence that made me spellbound.
The Book of Cold Cases - The blend of mystery & horror is 🧡
Sea of Rust - Picked this one up to get over Murderbot but ended up getting my heart broken.
& Day Zero - The prequel to Sea of Rust. Not a good solution to get over bots. I can't remember the last time I cried so much while reading a book.
Book of Night - Cool magic!
Once Upon a River - Nothing like a good story written by a great storyteller with a blend of different genres.
