Lol, look at that timing! It's like they knew ;)I've never played UNO, but I've always been intrigued. Do you enjoy it as a challenge? I'm planning on reading some of the longer books on my TBR during this challenge since it'll accomplish two goals: getting them *off* my TBR and getting us more points!
I wish...
Hello fellow teammates! How is everyone's week treating them so far?Just got the email that The Circle is ready for pick up at the library, so hopefully I get picked for DQs (though I don't think a lot of people volunteered). Yay for extra points!
I think it depends on if I enjoy the book or not. I could be convinced to see it if the book holds my interest. Otherwise, probably not.
I just put a hold on our library's one copy of The Circle, haha. It's due back today, so, unless they renew their checkout, I should have it in time for the start date. I volunteered for DQs, as well.

Samantha wrote: "I like getting the big huge books because you just have almost 50 issues all at the tips of your fingers."I love the compendiums for that exact reason. I like to get as much "bang for my buck" as possible. Liking a comic book series can get expensive!
Samantha wrote: "I just finished Jane Eyre last night, which I think is probably one of my favorite classics :) I'm torn about what to read next. It's either going to be Clockwork Prince, A Court of Thorns and Rose..."I've had The Walking Dead Compendium #3 for ages and have yet to read it! I have a lot of books on my shelves like that, haha.
Also, I loved Jane Eyre. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it as I hated her sister's book (Wuthering Heights, ugh...) but I feel in love pretty instantly.
✼Danielle✼ wrote: "What books are you currently reading? Anything good?"I'm currently trying to get through Artemis Fowl. It's been on my TBR list for awhile and I'm doing the Cleaning Out the TBR Closet challenge, so I thought I'd finally give it a go. It's doing nothing for me so far... but perhaps it will get better. One can only hope, lol.
Teddie wrote: "I just saw this list of must-read fantasy series. You may have read some (or all) of these - but I always love looking through lists like these."Looks like I've got a few more books going on my TBR list! Also, the first author on there wrote one of my favorite series when I was growing up, The Enchanted Forest Chronicles.
Title relays.... *shudder* But they definitely caused me to read outside of my comfort zone! And I managed to read an entire series (Percy Jackson) that I had been meaning to check out for awhile during Wobble. I've hit a bit of a slump lately, so I'm ready for another challenge to get me in gear!
My traditional favorite genres have been fantasy and sci-fi, but I've recently been trying to branch out and try new genres. I found I tend to like historical fiction and true crimes, too! I love trying new things :)This is my second TT and third team challenge. I also did Wobble and *loved* it! It was certainly intense, but I don't think I've ever read so much.
Also, @Ivy, Organic Chem is a beast... That was perhaps my least favorite class, heh. Bio is definitely better than Chem!
@ Ivy - It's a pretty awesome job! Microbiology is my favorite section in the lab. It's like playing detective to see what bug might be making someone sick. I had a lot of Bio classes in college and it's always been one of my favorite subjects :)@ Teddie - Yeah, I just couldn't handle it, lol. I grew up in the military, so I've lived in all kinds of different climates, but lived in Ohio for a large portion of my life. I still didn't get used to the cold! I was made for warm weather.
Hello, team! I'm Kerri and this will be my third team challenge. As Danielle mentioned, they are kind of addicting...I currently live in New Mexico, having recently moved from Ohio. I loooooove it. Mostly because I hate being cold. I work as a medical lab technician in the local hospital in the microbiology department. Basically, I play with bacteria all day :) My interests beyond reading are music, hiking, trivia, and catching up on the newest episodes of MST3K. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to playing with you all!
@Samantha - My husband and I are in the house hunting process, as well! Though I'm sure it'll be more of a challenge in Southern Cali as opposed to middle-of-nowhere New Mexico, lol. Good luck in your search!

Agreed! Marvin is hilarious, though I'm sure he would disagree with that statement, haha.
Good luck to all the former Lady Lizards! I had a lot of fun in that group and with Wobble. I'm pumped for a new team challenge!

I saw your friend request :) I'm looking forward to being part of the crew! Especially if I can be Chewy. I make a pretty convincing Wookie noise!
