Option 1: Make Lemonade

1 ¼ - ½ cups sugar
1 ½ cups lemon juice
8 cups of water

►Read "sweet" books - it can have something sweet on the cover, be a "sweet" romance...
►Read "sour" books or books with 75% yellow covers (sour-books with angry, disappointed characters)
►Read books set on the water or with water/water features on the cover

Directions:

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.

►Read books with more than one author

►Read "hot" books - red covers, hot items on the cover, etc.
►Read books with "cool" covers - icy, wintry themes, white covers, etc.
►Read books where a character gets a makeover, changes their shape, changes their life, etc.
►Read books about "togetherness" - families, friends, etc.


Mix it up – want a little variety? Try adding one of the following:

Add cherry juice
►Read a book with a redhead main character or a red cover

Add smashed strawberries
►Read a book with splashes of red on the cover
Add some orange juice

➫ I read a lot in the car today. I was having seizure activity last night and this morning so certain overprotective people dragged me along with them. I got reading done though!
2: What book(s) do you hope to finish during this read-a-thon?
➫ Wow, during the readathon? I would like to finish up The Rithmatist, Feed, Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things just to get them off my reading pile. Great books one and all, but eep.
3: What WOBBLE challenge are you looking forward to most?
➫I'm looking forward to Labors of Bookules. Its just sounds really cool.
4: Tell us FOUR fun random facts about you!
➫ I started reading at age three though my mom and I continued to read the entire Chronicles of Narnia series together in first and second grade.
➫ I have actually been published - before self-publishing was a big thing - twice!
➫ I have met and talked to Max Brooks (World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War)
➫ I can speak and understand one of the last remaining American brogues in existence and hearing it always makes me homesick.
