35559 wouldn't it be easier to have a separate thread for completions? Otherwise it could become a mess pretty quickly

The Warlord Chronicles have a special place in my heart, as it was the first series from him I've ever read. I've since read nearly everything else he wrote (Sharpe, Uhtred, Thomas Hookton, Stonehenge...)

35559 I'm weird, and hot beverages (with the exception of hot chocolate) make me nauseous... (soup is included in that category as well)

35559 I'm from Team Superbia here, and thought I'd go with:

1. Lady Midnight yes, I went there. I have made a promise to never touch another Shadowhunter book. I have issues with the author's ethics, I think the characters are too much a rip-off of Harry Potter, not to mention that I think she's beating a dead horse.

2. Allegiant. I can't even with that ending. This follows the dystopian trend of a great first book, a pretty average second book and a train wreck for a third book.

3. Caraval everyone seems to love it. I thought it was way too crazy and too hard to follow.

35559 Sorry, sorry, between the sunburn I got on the weekend, my allergies flaring up and work, I've been a bit swamped. If Maddy and Rina are okay with it, then I'm okay with ti

35559 #10 is still unclaimed: something prickly/spiky on the cover

35559 okay, I'll try to see if I can squeeze in one more book

35559 just curious, why is there an observation about the audible duration of The Tyrant's Tomb on the SS?

I enjoyed it more in the beginning, to be honest.

As it went on, it got a bit too slow to get where it wants to get, if that makes any sense. I'm still reading it because I want to see how it ends (and book 11 ended with a huge cliffhanger, which is why I've picked up the book on release day)
