35559 so, I think The Player Next Door by K.A. Tucker could be used for task 89 (car on the cover)

my favorite trilogy from him is the one that starts with The Winter King: A Novel of Arthur.

He has a massive series with 21 books that follows a British soldier in the Napoleonic Wars. Then The Last Kingdom will have 13 books.

(view spoiler)

Bernard Cornwell is one of the authors that I read whatever he writes. I think I've read over 40 of his books

Ooooh, I missed that there are more people watching The Last Kingdom

I'm up to date with the show and with the books. In this last season, there was one major deviation from the books, that I did not enjoy.

I don't much care for the first ACOTAR book, but I do find myself re-reading ACOMAF at least once a year LOL

I totally understand :) I do like the ACOTAR series better than ToG (Heir of Fire was a pretty boring book in my opinion).

An author that has a legion of fans but I refuse to read any more books from is Cassandra Clare.

35559 I don't hand out 5 stars easily. Usually, a 5-star book is one that gives me a book hangover, and any book that comes after it is just dull in comparison.

When I think about 5 star books, these two immediately come to mind:

The Wrath and the Dawn (The Wrath and the Dawn, #1) by Renée Ahdieh A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2) by Sarah J. Maas

they just floored me, I kept thinking about them for days.

I'm waiting for the Pillars of the Earth prequel :)

I read the 20th century trilogy as soon as the books were published

35559 Are we recommending historical fiction books?

If so, I'd like to recommend Bernard Cornwell's books, in particular his trilogy on King Arthur

The Winter King A Novel of Arthur (The Warlord Chronicles, #1) by Bernard Cornwell

if you don't mind chunkier books, Ken Follett also has pretty good boks that are historical fiction.

35559 to be honest, I don't have anything planned yet for this challenge...

when I look at my books, I get that 'meh" feeling, and the same when I look at my upcoming releases shelf

35559 Hello, everyone!

I’m Tati, and I’m in Brazil. I have been working from home for two months now, with no idea when I’ll be going back to the office...

I have a corgi named Ollie (stubborn little thing), though labradors have a special place in my heart.
