@Cathy no we haven't met Rhys before, I think he was just mentioned as like 'the puppet king in Silences' or whatever, pretty sure we didn't even get a name before this.I finished earlier today and ugh this book makes me so angry! I mean not necessarily in a bad way because it is a very well written book but Rhys and the old queen are just infuriating. Also (view spoiler)
Also I love at the end when Tybalt (view spoiler) I just love Tybalt very much. Also, is there literally anything more badass than (view spoiler)
damn i didn't realize it was so early this week. it has been at a different time for me every single week lol ok, i just posted my last 3 books. i'm not going to get the 4th one done but that's okay because it looks like it has more options for next week anyway

lmao i think i've seen that post before and yeah that is literally october's exact approach to 'diplomatic negotiations'. although i guess to be fair arden pretty much did send her because she knew that she would piss everyone offi read up through chapter 14 last night. i had forgotten how fucked up this book was lol. and the fake queen is just the absolute wooorst. i honestly wish they could kill people just so all these villains could stop popping up again

i read chapters 1-6 today although as usual i find it difficult to say too much without giving spoilers for the whole book. i will say that i'm glad may is in this book more and i absolutely love walther as well so it's nice to see more of him. anyone else started yet?
i just posted one i finished today and should have four more finished before the cut-off, looks like they will be mostly O, R, and A so far and one can be used for N as well

i read it right when it came out [which unfortunately means i can't do the BR lol] but i can't remember all the side characters to remember if anything would work. i guess you could always start it this week and finish it next week though, and we should have our new word tomorrow i think.
ah yeah that would suck. for me i pretty much have to dnf the book in the first 10-15 minutes of reading it or i will just need to finish it to see how it turns out even if i hate it lol
i've been using a lot of the books on my list for wheel and also for tower teams a few months ago, but i guess it all depends on what letters you get lol
yeah i think i deleted probably 40 or so, so much that i had to start dipping into 2017 books because i ran out of 2016 ones lol. i've gotten a lot better about DNFing stuff this year though, i'll just read the first two chapters and if i don't love it then i'll move on
woo!i dnfed unseen forces but now i'm reading the child thief instead which i think is better because it is both longer and so far has every letter except i and o lol
Title and Author: The Boneless Merciesby April Genevieve Tucholke
Date Read: 11/11/18
Rating: 4
Page Total: 384
Spell-Out Letters:
C: the cut-queen [nickname/title, if that counts, that's all the characters referred to her as so it was in there quite a bit]
O: ovie [character]
R: runa [character]
I: indigo [character]
A: april [author FN]
Bonus Options: none
@Alexandra i think you can use any books you didn't get posted last week for this week's word if they have overlapping lettersmy plan for this week is:
The Boneless Mercies - C O R A so far
The Two Towers - just A i think
Runebreaker - C R A so far
Unseen Forces - at least U
No Man of Woman Born - at least N and A
A Red-Rose Chain - O R and A at least, can't remember all characters in this one
At Galactic Central - at least A
looks like N and P might be the more difficult letters this week
