anyone planning on doing the floor is lava challenge after this is over? i asked a question in the question thread so i'm waiting to hear the answer before i commit lol. it helps that they lowered the page requirement to 100 pages and i do like team challenges but also i hate feeling like i'm not able to read the things i want to so i'm not sure if back to back challenges are good for me
are there different point values for different lengths of books in this one, or are the points just based on completing any given task and each book counts the same as long as it meets the minimum length requirement? i didn't see anything about different lengths having different points but that is usually how it is in other NBRC challenges so i wanted to check.
i just put in another request for a thread for the next book so hopefully they will get the thread up soon. i'm listening to another audio right now though ...well ...if i decide to keep going lol. but we can start whenever they get the thread up or whenever you guys want
i am definitely gonna try to do a few 400+ page ones for next week. working on paradise lost right now actually but it is slooooow going as i have to read a lot of it twice to understand it lol. probably not the best thing to read during a challenge but i have literally been trying to read it for 15 years and i was in the mood suddenly soooo i went for it

ok so i assume we have all agreed to keep cinnamon for next week in fear of the dreaded X? lol is there anything we need in particular to finish out this week? it looks like we will have enough shifter books if the ones on the planning sheet get finished. i'm about to finish small spaces and then i'm not sure if i'll try to do another short one for this week or start something longer for next.

yeah i would say we just keep the word we have. i'm sure i can read a few lgbt books for the genre. is there a list of the possible words we can get on a respin or is it a secret lol
i thought that respins were only out of the regular words but i guess not. i'd rather just keep our word if there's a good chance we're gonna get a word with an x in it lol but if everyone else is good with it then go ahead and respin, just be aware that i'm about 99% sure i don't have any X books. and probably no memoirs either ;)
did they add new words and genres? i don't remember seeing twix before loli'm okay with keeping it or respinning. like you said it's not really a bad word and we do seem to do better with longer words for some reason. i'm not sure how many lgbt books i will get in because i read a lot of them last month, although i do think i have an arc that publishes at the end of the month that i should do ...

lmao, i watched like 30 seconds of it and suffered from so much second hand embarrassment that i had to stop but it's cool that someone did something like that for the series since it was never that popular
oooh sounds interesting. will this challenge end up overlapping with tower teams or will tower teams start shortly after this one is over?
