How's everyone doing?

By the time I wake up tomorrow I'll be able to start reading! Yaaayyy! I'm going to start off with The Ronin's Mistress and Glossed and Found. I have over 100 books on deck including some of the dreaded Qs...I also have some whoppers for later. Can't wait!

I know how to use them -- I do at work all the time! My iPad is just not up to it& I can't do it at work. Much too busy & such behavior would be greatly frowned upon... 😝

I go back tomorrow after a 2-week hiatus. That is, I had a cold & the hospital rules are you must have 2 negative COVID test results, be completely symptom free and then wait an additional 72 hours. Then you need to call 24 hrs in advance to schedule a rapid test in the parking lot. Should you pass your 3rd test, they will then let you report to your department to work! Caution is great, but I think this is a bit much...

I'd also like to claim an I -- I have Glossed and Found by author India Ink...

Ah, yes...About the spreadsheet. I can view them, but I can't write on them. I use a really old iPad for all my book stuff & they just don't work for me. I hope it's okay if I ask for help.

I'd like to claim the R with The Ronin's Mistress if that's okay. Could someone put me down for that?

I also found 2 Q authors at the library today AND a book with wheels on the cover! I have to see if it will work with any of this round's letters first... I will always do the BOM participation IF I can get the books from the library. I really hate ereaders...

I am SO ready to play! I have at least one book for every letter -- except Q. And I'm going to the library to look for Qs tomorrow.
Why -- oh WHY -- are they spelling liquorice with a Q? Tricky!

Aloha! I'm Lauri from Hawaii & I'm excited to play! I really love historical fiction, but normally read scary stories in October. I'm involved in another big challenge with another group & are supposed to read mystery/horror/thriller for this month. Yee-haa!

I'm a married old lady with a grown son. I still work full time at the State Hospital (yes, read mental hospital.) I enjoy shopping ( gotta love Amazon), movies, music...reading is and has always been my obsession.

I look forward to getting to know you all. Please feel free to look at my five-star shelf or any other shelf. I got a lot of stuff on there...
