Sally, it was Lexi an original team member who was interested in the hitch hiker thread back in August. I PM'd her and asked her to drop into this thread if she is interested in re-joining. If not, if the Mods okay it, we can just play on with our fabulous seven for now. Sounds like a plan.

I heard back from Abir, her schedule is really full at the moment so she is going to take a break. She is an original team member and it has been lovely having her on the team, she hopes to come back at a later date. For now, I'll work on a replacement player.

Jenny, can you request our next itinerary from the Travel Agent, thanks.

As Abir has been part of this team since the beginning I'm going to PM one more time. If she doesn't respond over the next couple of days I'll advertise for a hitchhiker. Hope she is okay.

I have one more book to finish. From a shaky beginning this challenge has really grown on me.

It's a team effort, CC. Only a week to go, let's all bring it home.

We have new bonus words for this round, ube and watermelon are out unfortunately.

Our words are neighborhood/neighbourhood, quality and local. This will give us the ability to put up more adult meals. They are not food words but we add with a food word so just note the page number/location and some one will to the spreadsheet. Thanks again for checking in.

I'm pretty up to date with finishing my challenges. The trickiest was Read the 50 US States in a year... 3 more to go before the end I'll just make it.

All good Tina! I think we were lucky with the bonus words this round which will be positive for having more adult meals added.

Only a bit more than a week to go.. I wonder how many people overall will still be playing by the end. Here's hoping for a top 5 finish.
