Captains, do you want us to post our read books here as well or just on the Spreadsheet?

So it seems most of the team are leaning towards the spell it out. Lets do New Caledonia as Noumea only has six letters. I'm sure a few of us can double up. Let's end this stop and catch up 31st October.

Hi Sandy, I'm sure we've been on a team together sometime..
St Mary's Institute is a series about a time travelling team

"History is just one damned thing after another."
Behind the seemingly innocuous façade of St Mary's, a different kind of historical research is taking place. They don't do 'time-travel' - they 'investigate major historical events in contemporary time'. Maintaining the appearance of harmless eccentrics is not always within their power - especially given their propensity for causing loud explosions when things get too quiet.
Meet the disaster-magnets of St Mary's Institute of Historical Research as they ricochet around History. Their aim is to observe and document - to try and find the answers to many of History's unanswered questions...and not to die in the process. But one wrong move and History will fight back - to the death. And, as they soon discover - it's not just History they're fighting.
Follow the catastrophe curve from 11th-century London to World War I, and from the Cretaceous Period to the destruction of the Great Library at Alexandria. For wherever Historians go, chaos is sure to follow in their wake.... (less)

Hi Sally, Yay, we're on the same team again. And Maddy is here too! Always great when there is a mix of familiar old faces and some new people to get to know. Can't wait to start. I've been saving up a few Q books I'm looking forward to read. And knowing the wheel Gods, we probably won't spin them, LOL.

So that's three for the glasses.. Sally, Maddy, Louise.
One for the spell it out (Lisa) so far.
We need one more confirmed for the detour to go ahead. 😊

This is my sixth Wheel, I am an enthusiastic player and Wheel is just about my favourite challenge. I will read absolutely anything in a challenge which means I have read some great books and some not so great ones to finish a task, LOL. Traditionally a romance reader I have branched out to historical mysteries and thrillers/ paranormal, but really words on a page I read it.
I'm a Mum of 3 and grandmother of 5, I do the administration for our farming business and am a full time carer of our adult son with Autism. Other than reading, I love travelling and can't wait to get back to it. Our international borders are re-opening soon and just can't wait. Hoping to re-plan a few cancelled trips , the first being a driving trip to Cornwall and Wales, UK.

Looking forward to playing with you all. 😊

All themes to do with time..Wheel of Time.. time travel.. back in time.. turn back time, time after time... clocks.. very clever. Well done Mods. 😁

Maybe a spellout?"
I'd prefer a spell it out, as well. We'll see what everyone else thinks. There needs to be 4 for the detour to come into play.

Destination is Noumea, New Caledonia.
Detour - Read a book with a pair of glasses on the cover.

Happy to defer for another couple of weeks."
Sally, how about we come back 1 October and see where everyone is up too?

I can remember my first round - but it was quite a few years ago and I’ve opted out on a few.
Was Mellow Mammoths a wheel challenge? I was on that 😀"
Yes, Sally! I think we were on that one together. Hope we are on the same team again.
