Great work ladies. Mel, is the book from Bangladesh fiction or non fiction? I thought that would be a difficult category to fill so well done .
Wouldn't you know it! My current book
has numerous quilts and a coffee table.. but doesn't fit the office brief. Where are the pianos or violins when you need them. 😉
Quick question.. can "Fiddle" as in violin be used or does the bonus word have to be actually violin? I'll be able to claim more tasks for the next round as well, I've got my eye on Southern Gothic if nobody else has claimed it . I was given
probably 18 months ago and it would be a good chance to get if off the TBR.

No problem. Whatever works best. 😊
Melindam wrote: "And indeed, how un-Aussie-like of you not to like Nicole or Liane Moriarty. ;)"Yes, and she (Nicole) even went to primary school in my suburb!

Karen... I really liked the first Outlander when they were more romance and set in Scotland. I still read them but they are soooo long and need some editing in my humble opinion. And I really dislike the TV series. Can't get past the characterization of Claire, and I can't believe I'm saying this but way too much sex.
It's nearly un-Australian to say it .... but Liane Moriarty. I think it's something about Nicole Kidman being involved bringing them to screen.. not a Nicole fan.. Again, un-Australian, hee hee. That's interesting Mel, I read that book probably 20+ years ago, she's a great historical writer. I think the jury's still out on Richard... the Tudors also had a pretty good reason for doing the deed as well. Have you seen The Lost King with Sally Hawkins about finding Richard III under the carpark? Really good movie.
The Book of Doors
by Gareth BrownIf you could open a door to anywhere, where would you go?
In New York City, bookseller Cassie Andrews is living an unassuming life when she is given a gift by a favourite customer. It's a book - an unusual book, full of strange writing and mysterious drawings. And at the very front there is a handwritten message to Cassie, telling her that this is the Book of Doors, and that any door is every door .
What Cassie is about to discover is that the Book of Doors is a special book that bestows an extraordinary powers on whoever possesses it, and soon she and her best friend Izzy are exploring all that the Book of Doors can do, swept away from their quiet lives by the possibilities of travelling to anywhere they want.
But the Book of Doors is not the only magical book in the world. There are other books that can do wondrous and dreadful things when wielded by dangerous and ruthless individuals - individuals who crave what Cassie now possesses.
Suddenly Cassie and Izzy are confronted by violence and danger, and the only person who can help them is, it seems, Drummond Fox. He is a man fleeing his own demons - a man with his own secret library of magical books that he has hidden away in the shadows for safekeeping. Because there is a nameless evil out there that is hunting them all . . .
Because some doors should never be opened.

Thanks. Will do. 😊
Captains, about the Mini... If our book fits a task but doesn't contain the bonus words do you want us to use it, or prefer to wait for books containing the bonus words?

And the answer is No. One died childless and the other had two daughters who went back to England in the 1920's. Gotta love Google!
And here's my contribution to Dickens..
. Charles Dickens and Kate Hogarth who becomes his wife solve mysteries. It's light weight but enjoyable.
