Okay we used all the ingredients and came up with 236 menu orders. Hopefully that's enough and we have the right mix for our customers!!If anyone wants to look at the menu orders to see if they can come up with more creative titles, feel free - you have 20 words you can use in the menu description
I'm going through the books we read and making recipes. I'm up to 232 recipes.I also moved Vicki's two books below the line to 77 and America Dirt, so we have our 100 books total.
ETA: We only have 11 ingredients left to use so I'll try to make the most of them.

Okay I'll look in my books for the recipes that don't have special words to see if I can find extras.
Tammie wrote: "So I just looked at the SS. None of the meals Jenny made have special words with them. Catching the Wind provides one of the ingredients, so go ahead and add one of the special words found in Catc..."
Some (or most) of the meals I made have special words with them:
Meals with Special Words from my books (22):
- Meal 24
- Meal 40

Meals with Special Words from other's books (5) (so I didn't include it):

- Meal 38 (Vicki's book had it)
- Meal 51 (Tammie's book had it)
- Meal 70 (Ann's book had it)
- Meal 79 (Tammie's book had it)
Meals without Special Words (10):
- Meal 81 - fish and chips (The Silent Corner)
- Meal 82- coffee (Cross and The Silent Corner)
- Meal 85 - coffee (Murder in Old Bombay)

I used the special word from each of those books already. Can we use it again in another menu item? I can search those books to find if there are multiple instances of local, quality or neighborhood.
ETA: I updated the local and quality words for these menu items:
- Meal 86 - apple juice (The Leopard) - quality
- Meal 87 - chocolate cake (The Leopard) - quality
- Meal 88 - red wine (The Leopard) - local
- Meal 89 - whiskey on ice (The Leopard) - quality
- Meal 91 - beer (The Leopard) - local
- Meal 85 - coffee (Murder in Old Bombay) - local
- Meal 81 - fish and chips (The Silent Corner) - quality
- Meal 82- coffee (Cross and The Silent Corner) - local
Now all the meals with books I read have special words.
I finished my last book, and posted three menu items. There are a few books with 1-3 leftover ingredients if we want to do a mash up. All 100 books are now posted in our SS.Vicki is creating menu items now, so we should review later tonight to see what we have left.
I probably won't finish Thunderhead in time. I will finish this book though:Murder in Mesopotamia - 264 pages
No, that sounds good to me. Is everyone flying again? I haven't been following this thread like I should...It might take a week to get our new itinerary so we might not be able to depart till mid-January
Looks like some of our travellers missed their flights, while others took early flights to return to our starting point. When we're all back where we started, I'll send a PM to our NBRC Travel Agent and request a new itinerary.
Hey I finished
but I listened to audio at high speed, so I'm going to search for ingredients from the story tomorrow. I'm wiped and am going to bed.
We can only have spell out items in the menu if we start with spell out right? We can't combine spell out and scavenger items?
Yes, I think we can add watermelon to a fruit salad, adult beverage, kids beverage, sandwich and a dessert.
