Okay! Namita and Abir, you can read any book for Stop #3.

I'll be reading my book for Stop #2 on Feb 16, and I'm the last one to complete that stop, so I changed our start date for Stop #3 to Feb 17 and made it a two week stop since we only need to read 1 book.

I claimed the S in RUSSIA, so the open letters are now U and A. Looks like Maddy, Celia, Namita and Abir still have to pick. There are two open read any book spaces, and I put Abir in one of them. So, who wants the free space and who wants the U and A?

By consensus, spell out it is! I'll update the SS with the word RUSSIA and you can claim letters there. 2 of us will just read any book.

RUSSIA will still get us max points since spell outs only require 6 people to read for it to get "bonus" points.

Awesome. There are an awful lot of time specific challenges I'm in coming up so a slow and steady pace in this group is going to help out immensely.

Great, so we have a full team, and we will go at a slower pace for this itinerary to give Abir (and the rest of us) time to breath. How about a standard 3 week stay for each stop? That would be about 6 months total for the itinerary. I'm fine with that if everyone else is.

I think only the last one would work, but that's just me.

From what the NBRC Travel Agent told me, if we don't fill that spot, we don't have a full team, so we can never get those points for everyone on the team reads. So, we can either try and pick up a hitchhiker, or keep her spot open. I'm fine either way, it just makes it more important when doing detours that ALL of us feel comfortable, or we might as well do the spell outs.
