Afghanistan book can also work for gains independence task, if we don't want four mid-level books in our itinerary....I'm easy either way - both 10 points, and clearing the task will give us another...

I've started a Senegal book.
I'm super impressed by everyone's willingness to hunt out books from those tricky countries! Thanks all!
Finished a book for Philippines (got a bit tense, but it just tipped the 50% in the end)Does also work for Y author and non fiction....
I've found a fun Maldives (felt like a change from Africa), as well as some African lined up for later :)Not found a camel :(
And a new World Wheel!United States of America!
So that's a long spell out and some tasks
Author born in United States
Red, White, and Blue on cover
"""watermelon"" in text"
stars on the cover
character in (or was) the military
letters EAGLE in title (any order)
We can only use books finished after now, though actually we've got a pretty clear bank so not an issue!
Danielle will get the sheets updated soon (I'm currently in mobile only), but do shout if you've a book coming up that works
Itinerary Books Update! We have now filled in our minimum requirements for medium books for Itinerary 1!
If possible, please hold off on finishing any more medium books for a bit! We need 2 hard books to finish the first itinerary with maximum points!

Do any of the recently finished books meet this, or any of the new tasks please?
Eg, in Silvercloak do they pack to travel elsewhere?
As an aside, What the River Knows will work for packing. Who else, apart from Rina and Sarah is reading that one?
I was pleased! :)@Dawn - any chance Silvercloak was in first person POV? Or has a Y character? Otherwise it'll sit and wait for a handy task spin
We'll absolutely put all those lovely points to maximum use, don't worry!Which is a point: we are operating under a cap system for this challenge, so we all need to be aware of how close we are getting to our sign-up + 5 limit, and start prioritising big books :)
You can see your cap and progress towards it on the "Member Info" tab of the planner sheet - Danielle's got some beautiful colour coding when we get close
New TasksRead a book that is #3 in a series (Or last book in a trilogy)
Read a book where a character gets on a plane
