Shall we risk my genius with the wheel, or does someone else want to do the honours?

11. I can understand their desire to drink to forget the awfulness, but it seems like a really bad choice to reduce their personal competence!
12. I'd've done something to put it out of common, I think. But that's more likely to be throwing it off a ridge into the snow.
Weapon.... I do see Simone's point: if theyd had weapons when they scattered out of the cabin then there would have been more injuries
13. Yeah, I think there's a mysterious death in all their pasts which is why they're being picked on
14. It's pretty effective writing to get the tension up!
15. Yup! I'm sticking with Kiernan, esp now the teeth could be from the home owners, familiarity of the figure in Hutch's video clinches it. But whether he has an accomplice I don't know

Ch 15 to 29
6.) After the teeth on the window sill and Christa's thoughts on there only being 31, were you still surprised when the found Kiernan's body?
So I was surprised, but it could still be him - they identified based on clothes, not anything else, and there's the oddness of the no blood at neck.
7.) Would you of been in the group that tried walking to find help or the group that stayed in the cabin?
Probably to try and find help. I'm not rating Simone's critical thinking in checking they were on the road though. Surely checking to find tarmac is an easy dig?
8.) What do you make of Alexis's story about Grayson and Denny?
I think it could be true.
9.) Well it looks like Brian, Kiernan, Miri, and Grayson are out of the running to be the killer. Any guesses out of whose left?
I'm still thinking Kiernan, because of the blurbs connecting it to And Then There Were None
10.) Why do you think this group is being targeted? Random bad luck? Planned?
Targeted. Did they all kill someone? (Christas flashbacks etc)

1. If you travel, where’s the coldest place you’ve ever visited?
I've been in the Alps when it's cold, but not for sustained periods
2. Do you like skiing?
Yup, though do not for a few years now
3. Do you think it was odd that the ski resort was open during a time it would normally be closed?
Not really, as resort have to diversify. I DO find it odd that it would be closed at a time when there's substantial snow!
4. Do you think Christa and Kiernan will be reunited by the story’s end?
Yes. Like others I am sus about Kiernan. Wandering off for a viewpoint? Nah....
5. Do you think Kiernan survived the storm in the beginning of the story?
Yup.

Can someone spin us a new set:)

elsewhere, I'll be picking up

We've had this as a BOM before, so it's not eligble.
Please feel free to nominate a different book

ETA I actually liked The Paying Guests the most of the three I've read, mainly because it's set in my manor, so I could pretty much visit the house location and also see the changes in the environs
