Vikki,
Are you sure you want to take on another one? We could use the free book bonus for that ta..."
Yeah it's ok. It's actually not that long, under 500 pages. The chapters in Chris Carter's books are short, some are only 2-3 pages. I should be finished my Scotland one later today. If the task is going on until next weekend I'll have loads of time for another one.

That whole series ..."
What a small world. I'm there every year for the World Pipe Band Championships.
The parade route (well at least from where we joined) was Blythswood Square, Blythswood Street, Argyll Street, Queen Street and around George Square. Usually it's just straight down West George Street between Blythswood & George Squares.

That whole series is set in Glasgow. I love it because I've been in Glasgow lots of times, so some of the places are familiar. If I haven't been to some of the places I've heard of them.
The Bird That Does Not Sing mentions being set around the time of the Commonwealth Games. Sadly I wasn't there for the Games themselves, but after they were over the Scottish team paraded through Glasgow. I actually took part in that parade (it was combined with part of the Piping Live festival that I usually take part in each year) - what a fantastic experience. I even got my photo with a couple of the medallists :)

That would be perfect. I can take the RITA award book and that'll finish that bonus."
Mine will be The Bird That Did Not Sing for Scotland. I'll start it as soon as I finish my current book. Only about 100 pages to go in it.

Vikki, could you do a shelf check for me please? I can't see Scream for Me pulling through to the spreadsheet."
My mistaken - hadn't added it to my Wobble shelf. Should be sorted now.
I'm more than half way through The Birthday That Changed Everything for party decoration on the cover. Might get it finished tonight. If not then tomorrow.
I've a few books set in Scotland that I could use for that one in the bonus tasks. I do have at least 1 book between 500 & 600 pages but I'm not sure I'd get any of them read by the deadline.

Do we still need one for books on cover... this might work

a pile of books on each side of the title.
