35559 So once we make a guess, then we're assigned with a task and the 2 books? Do you guys have strategies or strategy ideas for guessing? (I saw another team thread that had a strategy but I can't remember the team or the strategy, lol, I was merely passing through.)

35559 When you get done with that one I can do :00 for 30 if you're interested.

35559 I have A Court of Thorns and Roses on my hold shelf in my ebook library so I'm glad that'll count toward a Wobble challenge book somewhere! Also, Rick Riordan liked Half-Resurrection Blues (Bone Street Rumba, #1) by Daniel José Older , so I thought I'd try it. I read a sample and it looks good so far! It's not YA and there's quite a bit of cussing, but it's a neatread; the author writes believable stuff about the time, culture, characters, etc. I'll officially start it on the challenge day so it counts toward Wobble, because I'm not reading as much as I want to be these days.

Not a serial killer book fan... I read Adam and Thr3e and they were both good but creepy.

35559 Wobble is my first team challenge. I recently got into checking up with GR daily because my job allows for some down time. I saw NRBC on a friends group list and joined, and this was during the Around the World challenge, and it looked fun so I thought I'd join the next challenge, which turned out to be Wobble! They said not for the faint of heart, and I love competition so here I am!

As for kindle vs paperback, I have moved alot so I rarely buy books. I only buy them after I have read them and have determined they're a must-have no matter where I move to and they're worth lugging across the continent.

I have kindle on my computer but I don't use it at work so I haven't read kindle recently. I usually borrow from the library or the library e-book database - Overdrive. I can open the book in my browser and if my boss or a coworker comes by I can click back in my email as if I haven't been sitting there reading for 30minutes!

I'm way more motivated to finish a book if I have it on paper though, so I still borrow paper books for my rides on public transportation and my lunch breaks. I used to read in the evenings but my social life has expanded and I have a boyfriend now so I read a little less.
I'm excited about Rebel of the Sands (Rebel of the Sands, #1) by Alwyn Hamilton
so I'll probably read that at some point! I have a list of things I've been wanting to read for a while, but if I'm not motivated I'll go back to romance and finish one in a day. Yesterday I started and finished Annie and the Outlaw by Sharon Sala some of it was good but I felt like so of the writing was cliche. She went in spurts of great writing and mediocre. I'm usually not that picky though; I enjoy anything.

35559 Hi Team!
Checking in!

My name is Melanie, I'm 26 years old, I live in California and I work as a receptionist.
I love to read; I go in spurts of how much I read - sometimes it's a book per week and other times it will be 5 books per week.
My job is pretty simple and straightforward and it gives me some downtime so I'll most likely check in during the work day. I usually read fiction and fantasy and romance, but I'm open to reading lots of different types of books for this challenge!
I also go in spurts of how chatty I am, but I'll definitely check in at least once a week.
This is my first team challenge! I'm super stoked!
I'm really looking forward to competing with all of you! Even the team name Dire Wolves makes me feel ferocious and ready to WIN! :)
