It's too bad the challenge is quite short book focused, there's so many longer books I want to get to, especially now that it's summer! I'll probably be reading a mix of short and long books. There's at least one readathon I want to do so that should help with the short books!

I'm probably going to fly through the rest of Eclipse today. My next book I chose by picking a random task and finding a fitting book for it! Might do that again later as it's a fun challenge.

I'm actually in the middle of rereading the Twilight books for the first time in 10 years so I can definitely do at least one of the TWILIGHT tags :')

I've also queued up a lot of longer books for the summer so I made a pretty conservative estimate for how many books I'll read per month, hopefully I'll have the time and the reading mood to fly through them quickly enough!

@Frankie Thank you! The exam went fine and I'm ready to read now! :) I might see if I can read something quickly before the challenge starts because I'm definitely in the reading mood.

@Geri I'm just generally excited to read some fantasy, I've been in a massive fantasy mood lately but haven't picked anything up yet because I still have things to finish first! I'm hopefully going to work on finishing some series as well

@Alysa You should! Estonia's quite nice. I'm glad you managed to experience the snow, snow's been kinda sparse in recent years. Maybe try coming back during a warmer season too, we have a lot of nature to enjoy :)

Hi everyone! Sorry I'm a few days late but I made it!

I'm Britta, I'm from Estonia and I'm a software engineer and master's student. I have my last exam of the semester tomorrow so after that I'm definitely jumping into planning for the challenge and finishing my current books!

I love reading and I've been doing it all my life. Besides books I love computer games, power metal (and metal festivals) and all sorts of horror.

I've participated in some of the TT challenges before and I was feeling nostalgic so I was super happy to find that this challenge was just starting! Also looking forward to having more time to read during the summer, university has had me completely swamped.

I also have a couple of reading challenges I've set myself that I want to finish soon so hopefully I'll get to use those books as well!

Hey guys :)

I randomly felt like reading Harry Potter, but instead of starting from the first book again I decided to pick up Goblet of Fire instead. I was actually kind of surprised by how much I loved it this time. The older I get and the more I read/watch HP, the more things I pick up and the more I pay attention to the way the books are written and how the series is built up.

(view spoiler)[This book is such a big turning point in the series. I love how she builds up to Voldemort's return and introduces the darker elements of the story. Cedric's death hits me harder every time. I know that Amos was annoying as a person, but it showed how much he loved Cedric and made it even worse for me.

The action scenes, Quidditch and the Triwizard tasks were fun to read, though knowing what the tasks were leading to put a bit of a damper on it.

I love that Rowling wrote that paragraph about Dumbledore having a "glimmer of triumph" in his eyes or however it was phrased. Such early foreshadowing!

I also really love that the series is so long that I always forget most of the "less important" scenes and it's always fun to rediscover them.

I might pick up Order of the Phoenix sometime soon now. Though I'm also up to the third book on the audiobooks so I might pick that up sometime soon too.

Didn't read much for a while but just finished Goblet of Fire and am going to work on my other books soon too. :)
