That's why I make a list for each week with all the letters we need. Otherwise I'd miss one, or record a letter it turns out we don't need. For instance, I keep having to remind myself we don't need A this week. I can't seem to stop collecting A's. :)

At least it can be used for L or R. I'm sure we'll find a place for it, and the others. :)

That's a good point. I'll do that. I have seen some odd tags on books here, I might get lucky. :)

I've heard back from the mods and we need to add your edition to the data base. You can add the book yourself, or PM me the info and I'll put it in.

35559 SONICSILVER is our last word. Those two "I"s will be tricky to get, if past experience is anything to go by. So keep your eyes open for books that will work for I or N, which I always have trouble with, too.

Here's my plan:
S Bullet for a Star Stuart auth
O Wisp of a Thing Overbay char
N The Negotiator
I Many Deadly Returns Inspector T. series
C The Laird Captive series
S The Witness Shield series
I I Shall Wear Midnight
L The Power and the Glory, Lehr char
V The Further Observations of Lady Whistledown Valmont char
E Guardian of the Horizon Elizabeth auth
R A Murder Is Announced Rosemary narr

Also finished:
Slightly Shady title, Neville, Crackenburn, Lavinia, Emmaline
Mine Till Midnight St. Vincent, Cam, Leo Evie, Rohan
Seduce Me at Sunrise Cam, Leo, Rohan
Dodger Stephen narr, Outlander, Izzy, Charles, Victoria, Robert

Last week - I'm feeling nostalgic already. :)

35559 I have everyone's finished books recorded. We need one more "I" to complete the last group, if anyone has any last minute additions.

This was a tough week. I read several non-fiction books I couldn't use because they didn't fit at all. :(
35559 I've started level 1 but think I'll work on this one while I do that. I'd like to read one for each category, if that's OK.

35559 Hey, fellow readers who also use audio books:

The first week of free audio downloads are available from AudioFile here: http://www.audiobooksync.com/2015-syn... This is a free service that pairs a YA book with an adult one, often a classic, in hopes of encouraging young people to read. But the books are available to any age. Depending on the publisher, some of these downloads are available outside the US, but not all.

You must download the two books the week they are offered, then they go away forever. So check and make sure your download worked. There will be two more books each week all summer. The player can be downloaded for free. (I use my OverDrive player.)

You can sign up for e-mail reminders each week. The titles change each summer, so get anything you might want while it's available. :) I got several of those offered last summer and enjoyed some of them a lot.

That is not utterly useless at all. I'll be happy to add it to the list. :)

I've read a couple of books that only work for one letter this week. It's a tricky word.

My understanding is that the edition you read is the one that counts. I'll check with the mods to be sure, though.

You can also add your edition yourself, or give me the details and I can add it for you.

35559 FYI, Tia I've put together your unfinished books from the second set with mine and come up with this:

F The Female Man Tia
U Left Hand of Darkness Tia
S When Love Calls Me PURPLE
C Equal Rites Me
H Howl's Moving Castle Me
I Earth Abides Tia
A Always On My Mind Catherine

That just leaves me with one S and one A book I've already finished left over, and makes sure we can use everything we're planning on reading. I expect to hear from Ozana today or tomorrow, and of course Kay, Catherine and Michelle are still reading. :)
