Jen’s comments from the Nothing But Reading Challenges group.

Well I've been putting off reading the series I am working on now. But I'm not sure if you already used the 2nd book.

I'm on my phone am can't get the spreadsheet to load.

I really, really enjoyed this book. There were a few lines that stuck out to me.

One I really liked was:
"When everyone knows you're a monster, you needn't waste your time doing every monstrous thing."

I'm wondering if anyone else had a favorite quote, or scene in general?

I've been really busy with school also. I'm heading into dead week and then finals.

I am trying to read a little at this time. But after the 11th, I will have a few weeks of now school so I will really be busing it out then.

So, for a while I was thinking her names were really creative. Then I realized Jesper is almost Jasper and Matthias is a last name also close to Matthew.

Still, I have been impressed with Kaz and Inej. This might be a stretch, but has anyone considered that their names (backwards) are Zak and Jeni?

I am really interested in everyone's response to who their favorite character is so far.

The writing really lends itself to likeable characters. I think it's a combination of interesting and varied backstories, different social groups, and the changing of point of view.

With every chapter, I get excited when I see whose POV it is. So, as soon as I see their name, I am thrilled to see what is next for them. At the end of their chapter, I left wanting just a little more (which adds to my excitement for when they come up again).

You guys, we are in 1st place. Woohoo.

Finally finished a book. I'm going to keep reading series, I tend to do them faster. Though the Lying Game series was really fun, I think I need a break from the teen drama type.

Anyway, hoping to finish the next in the series in the next couple days.

Okay, so for finding phrases, you can look at the amazon books in the look inside feature, google the book as a pdf, or google "I books (title). There is a loksise feature for iBooks but won't show you all the pages so it might miss it.

Thanks Anna! That's really helpful. I will press forward as I have only met a few of them so far. I was definitely paying attention to the wrong charcters.

I'm only two chapters in currently. I want to keep going, but I think I might have to reread the chapters first. I'm having a hard time keeping all the names straight.

Anyone want to spoil who the main 6 are for me? I'm worried if I try to google I will see something I don't want to ruin, but knowing which nes to pay attention to would be helpful!

I have slowed a little on reading. I have an exam tomorrow that I have been studying for.

It was a slow weekend but I'm hoping to finish a book later today.

I loved the Night Circus, but I read too recently to reread. So good.

I also was really into Water For Elephants, so if I can get my hands on a copy I could reread that.

Harvesting the Heart was all about emeralds, at least it felt that way when reading it, the female has green eyes and we never forget it!

I keep track of my ideas so I just had to go back to find them. But I read the series so fast that it didn't really sink in. Also it was 1.5 books ago haha.

I'm reading a book that adds to 22. So close.
