Dang, I was hoping it would be the MC. I don't think it will work. I'll keep looking to see what I have. Don't really have a ton of MC vampire or werewolf books that are the MC. Just books like The Dresden Files.
Well, we could always read Twilight!
Sam, I think I will use it for Labor 6, since I am almost done with a book set in winter and that will finish it off for us.
Thursday updateTwo bonuses completed, two active bonuses
Labor 5 has been completed. Two more needed to increase our bonus potential.
Closest Labors to completion:

Labor 11 (3/5 submitted)

Sally, the book you just finished--can we use it for handsome man on the cover, or where someone showers?Or is the injury severe? It sounds like it is from the book description. I slotted it there for now, but will wait to hear back to see what you wanted to do with it.
That will put you at two books and you can read for bonus then, too.
Berit wrote: "Michelle, after my musician book do you want me to concentrate on the bonuses or the others the labors or whatever :-)"Let's keep knocking out the bonuses if you can. I want to be sure everyone gets a chance to complete two labors books, at least until the end of next week.
Berit wrote: "Are there supposed to be duplicates? Or was that a mistake?"Not a mistake according to the spreadsheet. We will need to read two different books for those tasks. This one is worth 60 points for us.
Also, I am working an overnight shift tonight to get the new iPhone and watch ready to sell tomorrow morning. This may be the last day for a while that I can read a ton, so I am going to dive in and see what I can knock out before napping this afternoon.I think I will be able to get about 600-700 pages done since no one is home with me and I am distraction-free until after 2pm. :)
See you in a few hours!
Having a spreadsheet issue with the second bonus. Not sure why it isn't showing our 10 points. The first bonus gave us 40 for completion. I posted a question in the captain's spreadsheet thread to see if someone can take a look. Hopefully it will be resolved today!
Last update of the night for me! Headed to bed soon.Labor 5 has been completed. Two more needed to increase our bonus potential.

Never mind! I see it in the Books Read thread.
Nancy, your books still aren't pulling into the sheet. Not sure what is up, but Krakatoa is the last one showing as read.
I was putting the strikethrough once I submitted in the official spreadsheet, but I totally forgot to do yours. Just a sec!

Remember that length won't count against us, so if you have shorties (101 pages+) that will complete these categories, go for it!
