Same here. I'm trying to finish A Feast for Crows, which I started a couple of months ago. And hopefully I'll be able to read A Dance with Dragons for the challenge. Finishing the Game of Thrones series this year was one of my bookish resolutions of 2018. Fingers crossed that I'll actually be able to accomplish that !

I'm glad you are doing fine and that the hurricane was not too strong in your area.
Jenny wrote: "Comment from the mods that doesn't affect us the first week, but may later..."Well, that's a relief. I was wondering how we would ever find something with JACK-O-LANTERN as a genre. haha

Hi Elen ! It's nice to meet you!
Cat wrote: "Spielberg is a director of films that I will reliably DISlike., so there is no way I'm going to inflict the film of RP1 on myself. Don't think I will be missing out!"No, I don't think you'll be missing much. Even if we ignore that it's a bad book adaptation, it's kind of mediocre.
Jenny wrote: "Also, for those of you who are fans of the TV series, these books are nothing like it. I couldn't watch the show past the first episode, as I didn't like the changes. But, I rarely like a tv show o..."thanks for the warning. I wasn't really expecting it to be exactly like the tv-show. I'm pretty good at separating shows/movies and books in my mind. I've learned to do that pretty quickly. Otherwise I get so disappointed by one of them.
For instance, that's what I did for Ready Player One. When I watched the movie, and once I understood it was strongly diverging from the book, I really tried my best to enjoy it for itself, and not as a book adaptation. If I hadn't done that I think I would have just exploded from rage. lol
Seraphina wrote: "I've got Déjà Dead that fits for BONES as a genre, great idea Claire!"It was all Jenny ! :) thanks Jenny !!!
edit: we can use it for the letter B, for the main character Temperence Brennan
my shelf is Challenge-Sally-Wheel-a-Thon@Jenny I've got a few Kathy Reichs books on my shelves which I bought not so long ago. I was a fan of Bones, the tv show, and really wanted to give the books a try. Maybe I'll read one of two during the challenge. A lot of them have the word Bones in the title, too. So that's really helpful!

I'd gladly share it with you, but I didn't save it at the time. I wasn't using pinterest much... Sorry :(

Hey Sonia! I'm really glad to be on your team again :D
Haha. You can blame it on me. I'm actually really proud of having infected yet another person with my love of slash HP fanfics
Aren't they just the best? lol
The only problem is that they can't always count towards your goodreads challenge, even though they feel like a novel. I hope you're enjoying them at least.
What did you read?
Hey everyone !I'm so excited for this reading challenge. The Wheel-a-thon is one of my favorite team challenges. I believe it's my third time participating in on on NBRC.
I don't know many of you, yet, but I hope we'll become good friends during this challenge. It's nice to meet you all !
So, my name is Claire. I'm from Brussels, Belgium. Technically, I'm still a student, although I've already done my master thesis. Long story short, the university system is not that great and as a result when I decided to change options mid-way they wouldn't let me pass all my classes in one year. And so, I only have that one class to pass this year. It's absolutely ridiculous. But that's all ok, because I've found an internship at the local Waterstones bookstore, which I start mid-october.
My hobby is reading, reading and reading. Like all of you I guess. What do I read? I read mostly fantasy, urban fantasy and MM romance. I read a lot of YA, too. I also like the occasional science fiction and classic literature.
