That works for me

The one I read for the letter R, Barbarian's Choice, also works for I (series: Ice Planet Barbarians) if that helps.
I was not able to make much progress in The Invasion of the Tearling today. I'm not sure I can finish it before deadline :(

Yeah, the reading in order rule makes it a bit hard...
Sammy wrote: "Jenny wrote: "You guys are making a compelling case for reading War and Peace.I'll get right on that! No, not really."
It certainly wasn't my favourite read of last year, lol.
Not the worst either!"
No it wasn't the worst. There were still some parts I really liked. But I prefer Anna Karenina by far !
Sammy wrote: "I just had loads of difficulty wrapping my head around who was who, as their names seemed to change every couple of paragraphs, lol."True, sometimes they are called by their first name, sometimes by their last name, and other times they are called by their title... It all makes it a bit confusing

no kidding! If it wasn't for the challenge I think I would take me about the same time to finish it. There are so many boring parts in this one, jeez!
Jenny wrote: "I love him!!!!!!! Dibs!Wow. I have gotten to be first on a lot of these. I must be special.
(Or, you know, I react to notification alerts when I am near the computer.)"
Damn, just a minute too late !

Now that that is out of the way...It took me six weeks, but I finally understood what is messing with my reading mood. I have f..."
That's the right thing to do, Sonia. If you can't take any joy of a book, what's the point?
Sonia wrote: "Okay.... sooo... I need help to pick my niece's christmas present.I'm currently thorn between The Little Prince Pop-Up edition or Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone illustrated edition.

She might be a little young for Harry Potter, no?
oh damn! I was wondering why everyone was so quiet today... I hope that problem with notifications will be solved soon.So I have an arc of Postscript that has a very shiny cover. Can I use that for shiny? I'm not sure since that cover is not on goodreads. And the finished copy is not shiny at all.

This is what it looks like. You can't really tell on the picture but that's all gold foil.
Judith wrote: "We are killing it this week. Nothing like a bunch of fired up readers to get some serious points on the spreadsheet. hehe"yep, they messed with the wrong people. We readers are very dangerous... :p
I moved The Queen of Nothing to banquet. That frees the spot for crown, which I think is easier to find.
I freed the "banquet" space as well. I will not be able to finish War and Peace this week, it will have to be for next week. lol, I guess I was too optimistic. Two big classics in the same week is a bit much.
