Chapters 2-3

(view spoiler)[ I already disliked the paretns in chapter 1 but now I full on hate them. My heart breaks for Jack and Jill. And how unfair they were to Gella Lou. When Jill thought that Gella Lou had left because she didn't love them anymore... It just broke my heart even further. it's so sad. Chester and Serena shouldn't be parents.

After seeing how they grew up, I'm now able to understand Jack and Jill better. A lot about their personalities makes more sense now. These parents have really f* up their kids. No wonder they felt more at home in that other darker, gothic world. It was always better than staying with their neglecting parents. (hide spoiler)]

chapter 28

(view spoiler)[ I'm starting to feel like Peter and Lara Jean's fake relationship is starting to be a bit more real than what they have planned.
How did I not see it's THAT kind of fake relationship trope. I was just too focused on Josh to see it. I didn't think Peter would stand a chance. (hide spoiler)]

I am enjoying it a little more, now. I usually don't read contemporary YA, but booktube has been raving about this book so much I thought I would give it a try. It's not really my thing but it's still enjoyable. I'm starting to really get into the story and I'm curious to see how things will evolve.

Chapter 20

No just this one. The first one was narrated by Cynthia Hopkins. I can tell you she was very good. And the third one by Michelle Dockrey.

I wish they used the same narrator for all of them. I usually don't like it when they change narrators from one book to another in the same series.

chapter 1

(view spoiler)[ I immediately disliked Chester and Serena. THey only wanted children for their own selfish reasons and not out of love. The babies were bound to be neglected.

I didn't read the synopsis before starting it so I was really surprised to see that we are following Jack and Jill. They were the last characters from book 1 I expected here.
But now that I look at the cover, I should have known! (hide spoiler)]

When Peter came to her I thought; what did she write in that letter? STDs? Whas it a hate letter? lol
The letter was actually funny to read.
But it's so embrarassing ! Poor Lara Jean! She shouldn't have kept those letter all this time.
Kitty was mad at Lara Jean. Did she send them? But that seems going a bit too far. At the beginning I thought maybe Margot would do it, but now I don't think so anymore... who did it?
I also wonder whether they were all sent at once or one after the other? (hide spoiler)]

And true, Margot was the glue. When they lost their mother, Margot took charge and was able to hold them together. It will be difficult for them without her. At least at first. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6-12

Chapter 1-5

(view spoiler)[ Hmmm... I don't want to be a party pooper but so far I'm not really impressed by the writing style. It's a bit random at times and most sentences are really short and simple. It's weird because I'm not the kind to notice these kind of things usually. But here I can't help it.
Storywise, I don't know what to think yet. Nothing happened much with the main character. It's mainly about her sister and her now ex-boyfriend, on whom Lara Jean has a crush.
But I feel like she'll fall deeper in live with him. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah ! I'm going to listen to the audiobook this time too. Did you know it was narrated by the author? I didn't. It's a nice surprise.

I've had this book on my shelves for so long but haven't read it because it sounds like quite the embarassing story... Often when a character is embarassed in some way, I feel strongly embarassed myself for some reason. So I never really look for that, be it movie or book. Sometimes watching romantic comedies is really difficult for me. lol. We'll see how it goes.

Chapter 9 - end

So I finished it :) My general opinion on this book is that (view spoiler)[ It was quite difficult for me at first to get into the story. I was constantly on information overload, which is weird because I'm fairly used to UF. It took me maybe until more or less 60% of the book to really get into what was happening, unfortunately. What really saved it at that point was Kate's witty comebacks and her banter with Curran. I really, really liked that part.
Once I was able to immerse myself into the book, I really enjoyed it. I think I will continue on in the series. I can't wait to see Kate and Curran's relationship evolve. (hide spoiler)]

So... Bono... I didn't expect that. and his... son? Arag... with a baboon?! Eeeeeew !!!!



Really that upire creepy pervert monster Bono disgusts me. The way he treats his experiment children, if I can call them that, and how he wants to just... with Kate. Yuck! Eeew !!! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 7-8

(view spoiler)[ I shared the same suspicions as Kate bout Crest. From the start I thought there was something fishy about him. He came onto her a bit too strong in my opinion. very suspicious indeed.

Also, Kate ordering a soucer of milk for Vurran is hilarious. I'm liking their banter very much !

Finding a head in your yard, on the other hand, as well as learning about that upir pervert monster isn't as funny... yuck ! I wondered if it was Crest (and I thought it before Curran! I swear ! He was the one to steal my idea ! lol). Maybe I'm dumb but the test they made didn't convince me he's not the upir, or at the very least working for it. (hide spoiler)]
