Oh no, poor book ! But glad to hear nobody was hurt. The coffee could have badly burned either you or the cat.

Oh right, there's the Michelle Obama book. I wouldn't mind reading that one.

Haha, happy coincidence.

I just love how the cat has no care at all for what its owner is telling it. There's no guilt in its eyes.

Right now I only have one memoir on my tbr shelf, Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up. I'd need to go on the lookout for more.
If it's a problem for the rest of the team, I'd be okay with a respin.

No she's not the type to do that. Usually when she feels like I'm ignoring her she would scratch the chair, my handbag, my yoga mat, ... anything.
I wasn't there when it happened, so it must have been an accident. But I'm still very upset.

35559 so my reading of Prodigy has been delayed. My cat accidentally (at least I hope it was an accident) knocked over a vase on my copy yesterday. It is still wet....

What kind of lame excuse is that? Either she has fans that support her, or she doesn't have enough of them.

I see. I can understand that. "Don't fix what ain't broke," am I right? I've had the case a couple of time when an additional book to an already finished series kinda ruined the whole thing. I hope it won't be the case for you with the Yellowrock series.

Good to know. I wasn't such a big fan of Him and Us, but I'm willing to give the authors a second chance.

It's always a good thing to know that the last book of a series are the best. Means they only get better and better the further you read. Makes me want to read them even more !

Cool! maybe I'll add that series to my endless tbr, too.
Good luck with Outlander and Game of Thrones.

This is yet another series I really want to try. But I promised myself I would finish a couple of the UF series I started before getting into a new one. But it's taking me a while to do so. Why are all these UF series so long? lol

I know. But I was fairly certain my two books would count.

Thank you for checking for Heidi. I couldn't find Les petites filles modèles on ARBookfind, so I did it the oldfashion way. I copied the text from gutenberg.org into word to see how many words it had. lol. So it's about 50k. We're good.

35559 So in the end I decided to read a couple of children's classics to score some extra points. I've just started Les petites filles modèles, a french classic. And earlier I also read a good chunk of Heidi.

35559 I just finished my reread of Sense and Sensibility, owning us a good 55 points. Now I'm trying to decide wether I should reread Pride and Prejudice, or whether I should do the smart thing and read a book I actually haven't read yet.

I love that book. I would have reread it, but I have read it not too long ago.
Have you read Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by the same author? I really loved that one too.
