The Goodreads Choice Awards have started. I've read very little of what was nominated so far. In fact, I haven't read so many books published in 2020... So few I actually feel uncomfortable voting for anything...

Oh, yesssss! I approve.
I've never watched that show, but you just showed me some good arguments for me to do so...

Oh, and by the way, I love you guys!

This team is crazy. No wonder I felt like my previous team was too calm. I got too used to this unparalleled level of craziness. lol

Poor kid. B..."Alright! thanks for the feedback. Not sure if I'll read it if there's really so very little new material.

Are you talking about
Broken Shards?
If so, this one is available for free if you sign up for the author's newsletter
http://authorkmneuhold.com/broken-shards/I haven't read it. I usually don't read novellas in series, unless it's a series I really really like. I liked Heathens Ink, but wasn't so interested in reading the short stuff.
Jenny wrote: "Oh, my guess is that if you start, you will want to read all of them. I was just trying to make it easier for you to start the series. It is a very fun rabbit hole to fall down."I appreciate it, Jenny. haha.
Actually I have a physical copy of the first book, so I will eventually get to it.
Jenny wrote: "if/when you start the series, there is no need to read them all at once. Each book pretty much ends. No major cliffhangers involved, just a bit of a tease as to what may happen in the next one.
So, you don't have to commit to the whole series all at once."Good to know. But it doesn't really change anything for me, lol. I always go into series intending to read it all. I just want to read everything. I have a hard time letting go sometimes, lol.

The Chronicles of St Mary's another of those super long series I want to read, but never do because the commitment!
Jenny wrote: "Sorry Claire!
The next opportunity will be a better one anyway.
If it helps, I will scoot over a bit and you can spend some time on the floor with Chris."A hug from Chris wouldn't hurt either

yes please, Jamie. Avenge me !!!
Also, gimme a hug. I need it.

So... It didn't work out with that job I applied for...
I'm sad.

no, page or chapter numbers are fine :)
it would be hell tryin..."That's a relief !

Do we need to quote the senstences to justify the use of an ingredient? I haven't done it for any of my books. 😫

So yeah. Hoping for the best but preparing for the ..."That's good news !!! Having to go through an interview in your own language is already difficult, but having to do it in another language, that's hell !
Sammy wrote: "I did notice that on the SS next month has 90 books, and the final month 100. :)"that's cool !
Sammy wrote: "It was SO nice not to have to note stuff down for Circe and just listen. Thanks Claire! "You're welcome :)
That's why it's interesting to have all of the ingredients posted. If you're not feeling like noting all of the ingredients you can just read a book that has already been read by a team mate !

already? lol. I've been reading this series since 2014. I should be done with it by now.
Jenny wrote: "I'm just trying to figure out which books I am reading or going to read this round that I have to try to pay attention to the food bits.
I am finding it very hard to notice and list the ingredient..."I have the same issue with audiobooks. For this round I'm only listening to
and I found it so hard to take note of the ingredients while listening that I adopted another strategy. I simply searched for ingredients on my ebook version to make the meals I needed and now I can just listen to the audiobook without having to worry about it.

Except for
, which is already on the spreadsheet, no.
If any of you read a 500+ page book before the end of countdown and if we've already reached 80 books I give permission to replace one of my smaller books (
for instance) with it. No worries.
edit: You can even replace is with another 300+ book with more interesting ingredients if you like. I really don't mind. Same for
, I really loved this book but it was really poor in ingredients. lol
I've had a big contribution to this round. I don't want anyone to feel left out. It's a team effort !!!
