I am the same! I really want to read more of those classics author. But reading classics just takes me so much energy sometimes, it just takes me ages to just decide to start one. Even though every year I tell myself I'm going to read more classics. It just never works out.

hmmm, you're probably right. You know me so well by now. *deep sigh* why can't I follow my own reading plans?

35559 I have a few ideas :D
I don't know yet for what kind of challenge they can fit, but I might start with either of those:

A Court of Silver Flames (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #4) by Sarah J. Maas The Crown of Gilded Bones (Blood and Ash, #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout Brothersong (Green Creek, #4) by T.J. Klune The Empire of Gold (Daevabad Trilogy, #3) by S.A. Chakraborty

Or I might just read something completely random. I'm a mood reader and it's hard for me to follow a schedule sometimes. :p

35559 As we are sharing recommendations, here are mine :)

The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (Wayfarers, #1) by Becky Chambers House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City #1) by Sarah J. Maas The City of Brass (The Daevabad Trilogy, #1) by S.A. Chakraborty Wolfsong (Green Creek, #1) by T.J. Klune Her Night with the Duke (Clandestine Affairs, #1) by Diana Quincy

It's a real mixed bag, but I wanted to put something for everyone :)

35559 Hey team !
Glad to be back for another Tower Team!
I'm excited to see some of you again, and to meet a few new faces as well. hello !

For those who don't know me yet; I'm Claire from Brussels, Belgium. I used to be a bookseller and now I work in HR. I kinda miss my old job, gotta be honest :p But now I buy books at a healthier pace. My wallet feels happier, haha.
I love books (suprise!) and my two cats, who (yes I say who, sue me) are the best. Except when they start screaming at 6:30 am.... sigh.
My favourite genres are paranormal/UF, fantasy, MM Romance and a bit of science fiction here and there. But really I read a bit of everything.

Sounds scary! Good luck Sonia!
Gosh sometimes I wish we could just teleport!

And I am just annoyed as you are with the stupid people. This week they had to dismantle a huge party again, and then another. When will people learn??? We're all punished because of them.

35559 Sammy to the rescue !!! Thank you. I really really needed this!
I can finally sid down a bit. Because of course, my cat had to pee all over the kitchen floor. Of course...
But now I can just relax and drool over these yummy men, nay yummy gods. When are they officially joining the pantheon? Because damn they'd deserve it!

35559 The brightness didn't last long. I had a shitty day pretty much right after posting this...

I had to go to a hardware store to get some new furniture for our bathroom. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Had extremely bad trafic on the way there due to a car accident on the highway. I missed my exit on the highway, so I had to go through the narrowest, really badly maintained streets of an overpopulated area of Brussels. And I've only been driving for a little over a year now, so that was a real test there for me. Turns out my GPS sent me the wrong way. Luckily I wasn't too far off, but it confused me and stressed me out enough that I thought I would explode then and there. Of course I arrived there way later than I anticipated. The furniture I wanted was not in stock, so I had to choose something else. I did not have my parents store card, so I had to make a new one. I waited about half an hour in a 3 people queue because of course two of the chittiest customers were right in front of me. And then an a**hole thought it was okay to pass before me. I had to put my foot down. Of course it took approx 10 second to get the card made, so I really felt like queuing was worth it...
I paid for everything without any incident, and the cashier was even nice enough to propose that someone come with me to the parking lot to help me put everything in the car. I waited another half hour there, no sign of the guy... So I decided to just do it myself !!! Argh ! My patience had been tested too many times already.
I arrive at my car and get to work. And... The furniture does not fit in the bloody car.... Jeez... Had to call my parents for help and spent another half hour waiting for them...
The whole thing exhausted me!

Sorry, I linked the wrong version. Here is the edition I own, Little Women. It has over 500 pages. Does it mean we get to use 12 ingredients?

35559 If I read Little Women, do we lose points, or ingredients rather, because it's considered a childrens book?
