On a side note (sorry if I am talking too much :P), just a kind request to everyone, that every once and often, please double check all the three spreadsheets (or spreadsheets as applicable) to see if all your books have been logged in correctly.

I know the captains and co-captains are making a great effort to keep everything on point. But just to be sure, that nothing gets missed.. kindly peep in sometime.

Yes, just a quick check on the word 'dance' for the book gave me a lot of options of the characters going to dancing, Mr. Sidney asking someone (Camilla?) for a dance and so on.

So, I am assuming it should work.
Now, should I wait for Angel to confirm or go ahead and post it ? Cant wait to see a new goal ! :p

Sorry, I have been sorta MIA for the last couple of days. Have been unwell and havent touched a book in that time.

Since, we are all running behind the goals (which is how it should be) and apparently stuck in between all kinds of animals..

.. lets take a quick breather.

In the 2+ weeks of this challenge, can you name the Top 3 Books (if not the best) that you happened to read?

Updated both the spreadsheets. Knocked two goals out from Crixus. Updated the post at the top.

I found 'knees went weak' in Stardancer. Confirming it with the Mods, if it would work.

I am starting the 5th in the series book.

I can certainly update the top-most post after every completed/new goal. The intention of reserving a spot at the very top was for the same.

I tend to check this challenge more often than all the challenges that I am currently working on.. so I can keep it as updated as possible.

Great that you have it covered.. but just in case if someone finishes a book that works for the same goal earlier (I dont know if anyone has any book pertaining to that), would you be okay in using that book instead and we can use yours for another one ?

Just want to make sure we lock in as many goals as possible.
But hey, we can also save spots if need be. :)

On another note, since Kate finished a goal, we have a new goal now.

You are killing it. That 'gut feeling' goal had me kinda thinking for a minute. :)
I found 'pulled the guts out', 'knocked in the gut'.. even 'feeling in his stomach', but had no gut feelings at all. :P

I actually did go ahead and used the book for that goal (sorry, Vicky :-() and the new goal is Read a book with the phrase "gut feeling" in a book.

I am checking through the un-used books so far to no luck.. but let me know if you guys remember reading that phrase in your respective books.

I wonder if the Mods would allow 'feeling in the stomach' for this. I found that in Emerald Atlas, I guess.

Vicky is probably going to be out for the evening, so not sure if she would see this before the end of the round.

Since we cannot use any Round 1 books into Round 2 (right?) I really do want to use Winesburg, Ohio for the goal, since Vicky would be finishing with her book after the start of Round 2.. hopefully we can get a few more goals taken care of.

I hope Vicky would be okay with it.

Also, if we cant use the books read in this round towards the next, would it be smart to complete our currently-reading books that dont fit any goal as of now, tomorrow so that they can be used for something ?

This sucks so bad !
So, the Mods agreed and I was able to use Zer0es for our body part goal.

The new goal that popped up was Read a book with 31-40 chapters and I was able to use Unbroken for that.

So, now the new goal that came up was Read a book that is in the Amazon 2010 bestsellers (http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/...) and Unbroken is on that list.

I am like Grrrrr... :X

I did check all the other uncovered books, but I am wrong, please let me know and I can hopefully make some amends and get another goal in.
