35559 Okay I found a book for task 3 - you sure you don’t mind if I complete it, Sarah?

35559 You can take S, Ambi!

Can I have O? :)

35559 Can I please sign up for 'S'?

I got this from the Rules section:

❶ Spell-It-Out: These challenges spell out a word. Then for each letter read books with titles, series names, authors (first or last names) that begin with letters that correspond to the word you choose. Some challenges allow you to use characters (first or last names), too. You may ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.)

You should definitely check this out. I have been running around the house screaming since I finished this hahahaha ."

LOOL that's hilarious!! I love when a book gets that kind of reaction out of someone. Will have to check it out!

Do you have any recommendations for this task? I'm stumped :(

35559 That’s only because I picked novellas (100 - 130 pages). It would take me way longer to finish average sized novels lol! 😅

Going to bed now but I’ll take a look tomorrow :)

35559 Finished Breath of Life for task #10. A science fiction beauty and the beast retelling. Had high hopes for it but unfortunately a 2 star read :(

Updated the spreadsheet! I’ve finished all of the tasks I signed up for. Let me know if you guys need help completing any others.

Go team!

35559 I vote for Tromso only because I’ve never heard of it lol!

Sure! I like the name ☺️

I really hope we do the spell it out because I do..."

I’m okay if we start with a spell it out (start with an easy task before tackling the more challenging ones!). How should we choose the 1st round readers - volunteer or pick randomly? :)

35559 That’s awesome! I really need to get around to reading it. She was so great at writing about suburban creepiness lol! I’m saving Hill House as a Halloween read this year!

Lion Cross was not what I expected. I enjoyed it for the most part but was left a bit confused overall. It’s kind of experimental in that it doesn’t follow a linear plot. That being said it did have some beautiful passages :)

Oh also I read Sleeping Giants earlier this year and thought it was amazing! I have heard nothing but good things about the audiobook as well.
