I'm in for DQs on this one since it is a KU book.
District 5

So nice to get back from vacation and find sign ups open for a new challenge! This sounds like fun.

I'm in again. going to do the same split as last year of 12 from my physical shelfs and 18 that are from my TBR from 2022 or earlier.

Thank you captains and teams. Another great challenge!

I seem to be reading books that only work for E. I thought this would be an easier word. Go figure.
I’m going to be traveling this week for work which means I’ll have lots of reading time or hardly any reading time. Hoping for lots as it’s going to be very cold and possibly rainy while there.

Glad you are feeling better, Suzanne.

Did anyone else look at at the goodreads choice awards this year and wonder where all the great books they read were. I sure did.

Sorry to cause stress. Wheel being often over November is one of the only challenges I'm not a captain/co-captain for and I have a hard time getting out of that mindset of checking.

Is it just me or is there a book on the round 2 planning sheet that isn't on the official sheet? I think "If it Bleeds" didn't make it over, not sure if it is past the deadline now.

I just finished my last book for this round.

I think we likely don’t need it but Synnar’s Hope also works for an o and is currently being used for an E.

I just finished another x book. I’m probably going to slow down reading as I’m going into National Novel Writing Month and I will be pulling some reading time into writing time.
I’ll look and see if I have a series/author with an O.
One of my early books from the month Fused can be used for an O and is currently being used for an N if that is helpful.

I just finished another X. I’m going to keep reading the Xarc’n warriors series and I should be able to finish 1 to 3 more before the deadline. They are easy reads.

It looks like we are doing pretty well this round. I’ve got two more books in the series I started this weekend. That will be L, E, and O most likely.
After I can start
which has an X series name. Also 10 books in the series if it is any good.

I thought I'd finish my book before the deadline but didn't quite make it. The book did have a character with an O name so that should be helpful. Off to my next read which as an O, X, and E.

I’m pretty sure I have an x character. I’m not going to be much help for the cities. I am reading a lot of fantasy and the audiobook I’m listening to has moved location every couple of chapters.

It looks like we are doing pretty well. Are there any letters we need to look for?

Starting my first book. Only problem I have no idea what to read.

If anyone has
on there TBR, I just finished it and most of it wasn’t very enjoyable. Only about 1/5 was autobiographical. Skim it if you want to read.

I blame Mark Twain’s Autobiography for being just below the line. I’m listening to it and not only is it long it is a wandering mess and not the good kind. Though half the mess is the editor in the first half. 4 hours left. At least I’ll finish before Wheel starts.
