35559 Is there anything reason to not pick a book if possible that has the full last word as the start? I didn’t see that not being allowed in the rules. I know we already picked but if there was a title that started with Chronicles could we have read that? For example Chronicles from the Land of the Happiest People on Earth.

35559 I also wasn’t able to find a Crete book that my library had or that my library had and didn’t have a long wait list.

35559 I also picked up an Orange cover since it looks like the next book I had planned has a place that is already filled.

35559 I've got three books I could read next. It is unlikely I'll be able to finish all three by the 15th, as I'm planning to read the backroom BOM, but I might be able to if they are easy reads. I'm going to start with the horns on the cover because it has been a while since I read an alien book and they are normally fast reads.
The Book Jumper by Mechthild Gläser (author with Diatic)
Rumor Has It (Animal Magnetism, #4) by Jill Shalvis (sent in Idaho) or
Chosen By The Alien Warrior (Ixionian Fated Mates #1) by Skyla Stone (horn on the cover)
If anyone knows that one of the other tasks is needed more please let me know and I'll focus on that one after Chosen By the Alien Warrior.

35559 After I finish Fates Entwined (Zodiac Wolves) by Elizabeth Briggs I'm planning on reading The Book Jumper by Mechthild Gläser which is by Mechthild Gläser and works for Author's name has a diacritic. I should note that this a book that has been on my TBR for a long time so it might be a DNF, so don't put me down for that task.

35559 I'm reading another book that we can send as a supply drop. I'll likely finish it tomorrow. Then I'll see if I can find something that works for one of the leftover tasks.

35559 If we want we can send Zodiac Aligned (Zodiac Wolves, #4) by Elizabeth Briggs bad. Won’t work for our mini. I haven’t added to the ss yet as I finished last night. Will have very similar reasons as the last book we sent.

It looks red at first glance to me.

35559 My book Sun Crossed doesn’t work for our mini and but works for food. Would work for weapon 2x, defense 2x, food 2x. Shelter 1x.

If we want to send it to them I can pull reasons for everything. Seems like it might be a good one since it doesn’t fit what is left of our mini.

35559 I am reading a shifter series and it is not really fitting for well for the mini. It works for food and that is about it.

35559 Aiswrya wrote: "I’ve a book for word hiding in title. Murder on queen’s landing. Land is the word."

Not sure what others think but I would have said that landing/land wouldn't work based on game/games/gaming not working. I thought it needed to be a completely different word like There having Here as a word. Did I not understand the task correctly?
35559 Sammy wrote: "10. We have been given information about Jane and her origin? What do you think of this twist in the tale?

UGH! And here it turns into a YA novel. I'm actually rather sick of that trope now."

It is interesting you thought it felt YA too. I thought that but didn't put it to the origin. I was thinking it was the writing in general and that it didn't have a lot of depth. However, this trope play into that feeling.
