Finally getting a bit of reading time. I finished "ten years to go" and I found the introduction of each of the characters interesting.
(view spoiler)[I'm pretty ambivalent about liking or not liking the characters. I did find Margot the most interesting. I wonder if that is because she is older than our other narrators. I oh D it interesting to think that she might have had this power when she was younger. It makes you wonder if maybe others also hid their power. I'm sure I will learn more as the story goes on. I'm liking the story so far, but I don't think it is going to be a fast read. It reads a little like a history created from diaries. That makes me wonder about our fictional author. So far lots of questions. (hide spoiler)]

I feel like I'm training for a competition in patience, and I think I'm loosing. . . .

I was really hoping you were posting that Tri-Wizard was announced. Hope soon.

I'm hoping to start this one this weekend. I took on way way to many fantasy buddy reads and I keep needing to take breaks and read a romance or something a little lighter.

Not all the fun. . . Tri-Wizard still to come. We keep hoping for an announcement, but not yet.

Don Quixote can be used for astronomy I think. I thought I saw that somewhere. It has so many pages. Great for astronomy.

Clearly it is a Monday. I cannot write sentences. Maybe doesn't help that I'm on my phone.

I thought that one looked good too. I don't notice the page count. I should not be intimidated, I just finished A Feast for Crows, but it is. I think the page count is the reason I have read a lot of the Russian classics. I want to but they are so long.

So far all I've had the chance to read was the two letters at the start. I think it is an interesting way to set up a book. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story plays out.

Welcome new team members.

That seems a little more concrete than past announcements for when we would hear more. I'm really interested to see what they came up with.

So far I agree with you Vicki. This one is is hard for me to connect with. I'm not as far as you are and am hoping to finish it this weekend. I flew through the first books, but this one not so much. I keep wanting to pick up and read something else, I'm making myself not do so in the hopes that this one will become more engaging and I can at least read some of it before everyone else is finished.

Sammie the Sugar Kithigon (kitten and dragon combined?)

Could we name it Sugar something since it likes sweets?

I thought you had to have more than one post and engage with others, reply, comment on others opinions.

I have a book with a horse on the cover but dress from rider covers the tail. I am not sure when I will get to it though. I'm guessing we don't have a horse on any of the books that have been read.

I hope that they can work for Tri-wizard too. Is there anything we need to finish classes?
