I was reading over comments and nine days ago the mods asked us to update out official spreadsheet. Last I checked we still didn’t have anything on the official sheet.

I’ve finished my books for this round.

Hi all, I was on vacation and thought I would read more while I was gone, but I didn’t have much time. I will try and finish a couple more books by the 16th but I’m not sure. I’ll keep the planning sheet updated.

I also don’t know. My inclination is that it needs to be in the text but that is from past challenges where graphic novels weren’t allowed.

I just started today. I’m an hour into the audiobook and I’m already lost with the characters. I saw others having this problem earlier. I don’t intend to look at cliff notes or anything else so I hope I’m able to follow it well enough.

I’ve got to update my book on the ss with food when I’m at my computer next and can easily search the text. There were lots of foods.

4 hours until we can start reading.

If you read the post it says for BOM starting after the challenge starts and states that Chain of Gold is the first you can read. It is different than other challenges.

Queenie won’t work because the date for starting was before the challenge started. Only one book for September and it is the YA book.

Not sure if anyone else saw this but I just saw this in the rules as an update.
“HOT NEWS- Customer Bonus
For every team member that participates in a Book of the Month (BOM) (by joining the discussion and/or writing discussion questions) they will be able to swap out one assigned customer for another of their choice.
Limited to one customer for each team member per BOM. (i.e. you can't get the customer bonus for writing DQs AND participating. But if you join 2 BOMs in October, you can get 2 bonuses).
This bonus will be available for BOMs that start after the challenge begins. That means Chain of Gold will be your first opportunity to earn the bonus. “
The YA book is not for me but we will see about future BOMs.

I went through and deleted a few books from 2016. A few I am thinking about but will probably delete. If I was standing in front of physical shelf of books I wouldn’t pick them so they shouldn’t be on there.

The only book I’ve picked is the audiobook for War and Peace. I had been saving it for Tower Teams because of the length but since that isn’t happening this year I will start it for this. I have to put a hold on it at my library so I may take me a long time to finish. I’m guessing a month as it’s over 60hours of audio and I will probably have to renew.

Thank you for making a planning sheet.
I don’t know if we need a captain, but probably would be good to have someone check the sheet weekly. I’m happy to enter my own book. I’ve been co-captain for a couple challenges here.
I also don’t care to plan books in advance but that is mostly because I don’t know what I’ll be able to get from my library.

Hi Team,
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. A little about me: I live in Asheville, NC. I read a bit of everything but I prefer historical romance and fantasy. I'm currently trying to clean off my physical book shelves, but I keep getting distracted by ebooks.

My brain just had an over load of ideas here are three:

This sounds fun...I love desserts and food.
Looking for teammates. I can read about 3 books a week/12 a month.
