Hope you feel better soon! I finished the Silver Silence book. It was okay. I like the Mercy series and the Protector series better but I think I just need to let this one grow on me a little more. We have a 5 am flight so I'm heading off but if I do get any reading done then I'll come on and let y'all know but all I will have is my phone so I may not be able to update the spreadsheets.

I'm not the biggest fan of sci-fi-ish books but for some reason I have Silver Silence on my dreaded TBR and it works for 3 tasks so I'll work my way through it tomorrow. I may have to read a little, find a hot hockey guy, read a little more, and continue the cycle but CB gave it 5 stars so it can't be too bad.

Just added another book that worked for white cover and the advice. :)

I know that I have a white cover book that I can read today. Vikki just put a book on that works for the advice task. I was thinking someone was reading for animal but I could find one of those too. I know someone is reading for the dreaded classics task. We don't leave for vacation until Wednesday morning and then I probably won't be on until the next Monday unless I have time to read something at night but I won't have my laptop so I'll need help checking things in. I'm going to try to get at least 2 books done today and tomorrow to help before I leave.

So, I went back and looked through a couple of my books but haven't done all of them yet for the newer monsters. Bittersweet worked for forrest and page numbers so I filled that in on the reason because it would need two lines. I also just finished a book that is MPG War if we want to put it in that last monster. I'm going to put that in now.

I'm leaving now to go watch some fireworks so just briefly got on but I'll have my other book done tomorrow and I'll probably have a couple more finished tomorrow too.

Ohhhh, good catch! Fire is an archer, she's the main character. I would also say Fire is very wise in the book. Ch. 19 states "she was suggesting she was too wise with the weight of her experience". It doesn't fit the other things.

I'm working on a book that I need to have done tonight that works for Chimera 1, 3 and 4. Love and Ruin. We are going to watch fireworks in a few hours but I'll either have it done tonight or in the morning.

Just filled it in so now we can get a new monster. :)

I just finished one and will post it soon. I picked one up last night and finished it this morning.

Finished the mystery book and my big book but I'll figure out what all it works for later. :)

I can read that mystery one that was posted. My library has it so I can get it done this afternoon.

Oh you go right on ahead with that one. I can find another book. I was just trying to help move a monster along since I had some downtime. Let me see if I can find an animal book with better page numbers. :)

I found a short fast romance that is tagged animal and has snow on the cover but the page count is only 224. Should I go for that one to knock out that monster or try to find a couple different books?

I'll have my 800 page book done by lunch time and we can bank it. What should I look for to help us get through a couple monsters today? I should be able to spend most of the day reading.

PS: I'm not a huge Epic Fantasy fan so I would need someone to point me in a direction that won't bore me to death if I need to take that one.

Mine to Have: 1st in a new series that's ongoing and is in the 200 page count

I think that 8 may be harder to find and I needed to read that short book for some things. Now, off to put the 800 page book back on audio for a bit.

What are the rules for books working for both the monsters and the team challenge?

That's okay. I'll see what I have in my pile that I can help with these monsters. I still have that big book going on audio that I can finish by tomorrow unless someone else finishes one first.

I think the 8 monster came up after I read Caspian but it's 8 in that series so it should work for the open monster. I think that's where I get confused? Can we use the book for more than one monster that is open?

Yay for new monsters!!! I'm hoping the little books that I need to finish fit a good bit of tasks when I sit down to put them in.

Oh nice! I was thinking the monsters were over at the end of the month so that makes me feel so much better. We will be on vacation July 6 - 11 so I won't be around much or have a lot of time to check in. I will have some books to read but nothing near my normal load and I'm not taking my computer. I'm off work though starting this Thursday until the 11th so I can definitely get some books knocked out during the pre vacation downtime. :)
