Hi everybody. I was going to post the new word and tags but decided to see if Sammy had done it but I see Sonia and Sammy got them up. Hahaha Oh the fun with this new set. Let me see what I have coming up that will work.

I did that too but gave up and bought those little ant traps and it actually worked. I haven't seen any more since then so I tend to do it when Spring season comes. I'm glad the dog doesn't care to even go near it

Those are nice landmarks, Sammy. LOL 😉

Ugh ants are the worst pests. I had them and it was crazy trying to get rid of them.

Day 5 Questions - 83% - end

22. At the beginning of this section Viv is kind of freaking out over what she did. She starts to call the police, then changes her mind. Then she hears a car pull up and footsteps coming toward where she is. What would you do in this situation?
I would freak out but also try to explain what happened.

23. When Viv and Marnie are taking care of Simon Hess, another car pulls up and it's Alma. Did you anticipate her reaction to what was going on? Why or why not?
Yes, I think Alma wasn't thinking about what it would cause. I think she felt that she needed to help Viv since she did try to tell her what she knows and even though she didn't have the evidence she didn't want to fail Viv as she did with Tracy.

24. Carly is being followed by Callum McCray (sp?) and loses him by pulling into Alma's driveway. Why does Alma cringe or flinch when she hears Callum's name?
I think she knew who he was and didn't want to include him in any of what is going on.

25. One of my favorite scenes was near the end when a ghost in a suit comes in to the motel lobby to check in. Carly doesn't want to touch the ghost so she snatches a key from the case and passes it over the counter. The ghost says "Oh good 209. My old home." I got the shakes just hearing it. Did you anticipate that ghost making an appearance?
I couldn't believe that happened. I started to laugh because it was just to weird.

26. Carly figures out what Viv did and gets to meet her aunt. Were you happy with the end of the story? If not, what would you have liked to see?
I was happy with the way it was written and how the story came together.

Day 4: 64% - 82%

17. Some of the major and minor questions developed throughout the story have been answered in this section: why young, pretty Helen was meeting with average Robert (Helen and her husband had planned to blackmail Robert); the connection of the girls' murders and their murderer (Simon Hess targeted women who were lonely); and why the murders had stopped after Viv had vanished (Simon was stabbed by Viv so he couldn't hurt any more girls). Did you see any of this coming? What clues gave it away?
I wasn't sure if Viv was going to actually be the one to do something but I did have an idea that something was going to happen to the killer but for some reason I was thinking it was going to be like a group effort but it was better this way.

18. Both Viv in 1982 and Carly in 2017 mentioned that Tracey might have been alive had her parents kept her in the house. This echoes the warnings that Fell parents have been giving their daughters: don't go jogging or don't work nights. What do you think of such advice? What else could Tracey, her parents, and her school have done to keep her safe from a predator?
Those that were warned about what may happen to Tracy should have at least check into it. If it were me, I might have followed my daughter to make sure and the school could have mentioned the call to the parents or even asked who the person was but instead no one believed the threat was real. If even one person would have taken the warning seriously, maybe Tracy wouldn't have been killed.

19. "The Sun Down Motel" has been tagged by 336 users as "Horror." What has been the most horrific scene for you so far? Is it a supernatural one or one connected to the murders?
I wouldn't say that it was horror but more mystery. I would say supernatural since the ghost seem to be very helpful throughout the story.

20. At the end of the last chapter set in 2017 in this section, Carly claims her aunt may have done something wrong (alluding to the stabbing of Simon). What do you think of Viv's actions? Do you think she was right or wrong, justified or unjustified in her actions?
I think Viv was justified and did the right thing. If she didn't stab Simon, I think he would have killed her next.

21. With only 18% of the book left to go, what do you think will happen? Do you have an idea of what happened to Viv after she stabbed Simon? Do you think Marnie and Alma know what truly happened to Viv? Do you think Carly will find out what happened to Viv?
I think so help was given to Viv since I'm sure that certain people won't let her take the blame for Simons' death. I believe Carly will do whatever she can to find her aunt but I think she doesn't have to look far because she might have an idea who she can ask.

Surprisingly I'm getting some audios done while transferring to the spreadsheet which I thought was due this week but I'm ahead of myself. This is what happens when family is too busy chatting but the surprise is that it is nearing 1am and the family is in their rooms even hubby so I can get something done. Yay! hmm, but not sure why I was just about to pull my hair out thinking that this week was check in time. So I'll finished my Q&A of the BOM since I've finished the book :)

Day 3 - July 4- 42%-64%- (edited to correct percentages)

13. Thoughts on Viv telling Mrs. White that her husband cheats on her. Do you think this is what gets her into trouble?
No, I think there's something else going on.

14. We have another encounter with the angry man ( this makes at least 3) Who is he? Why is he important to the story?
Not sure about him yet. I just know he annoys me with his anger.

15. Which story line (Carly or Viv's ) are you enjoying more? Why?
I actually like them both. Different things are happening with each other them. So I'm enjoying both.

16. The ending of this section just raises more questions for me. If Viv buys a knife, didn't she get a chance to use it?
Where is the knife? Was it mentioned in the police reports? What do you think?
If Viv is dead then I think she might have gotten overpowered and was killed with it.

DQs Day 2

6.) This section opens with some spooky stuff going on. If you saw literal ghosts in the creepy place you worked, would you split right away? Would you of left with sketchy-past Nick? Would you go back to work or think the overnight creep factor was making you see things that weren't really there?
I'm not sure I would run away right at that second since my curiosity might want to know why a ghost is hanging out. LOL but I might run if I were to be attacked.

7.) Viv listens to guests' phone conversations. There is the saying 'people who eavesdrop are seldom happy with what they hear'. Or something close to that anyway. Do you think she may over hear something that results in her disappearance? Would you listen in if you were Viv?
Viv might have heard something that got her caught up in a mess or maybe hurt.

8.) There really have been several deaths of young women in Fell, especially factoring in the size of the town. Do you think they are all connected? Connected to Viv's disappearance? Do you buy into the police stance of no connection between any of them?
I can't see that no one would think that these women weren't connected, including Viv. I can't see that being the case. It just doesn't make sense and in a small town. Somethings wrong with this picture and how can the police just brush it off as nothing? Weird.

9.) What do you think of the complete laxness of management and staff at The Sun Down Motel? Anyone else wonder how the heck that place is still open? And more importantly, why?
I found that strange too. How can something stay open with the lack of people and not a big pay off in the end. It just doesn't seem right. Unless......hmm

10.) Any thoughts on the candy machine? It keeps popping up in both timelines. Maybe nothing, but in this type of story, who knows.
I think the candy machine is just a fixture as the motel. LOL

11.) Marnie and Callum are interesting additions to the character line-up, thoughts? Did you think it was strange that Marnie won't talk with Carly? Callum local nice boy-helper dude or creeper?
I think Marnie may feels guilty about Viv and doesn't want Carly to end up lime Viv. Callum does seem creepy but I don't know just yet if he has anything to do with the dead girls.
