35559 I’m also not really a planner, so I can just try and fill in for open spots. I have a shelf of the last book read in series I like, so I’m sure I can find something that would help.

35559 Hi all, I’m much better! Back on solid foods and just waiting for all the doctors to sign off on releasing me today. I can’t wait to go home!

The mini challenge looks interesting! I might delay finishing some of my books that I know will work for that.

35559 I usually Staycation every year for an extra long Memorial Day weekend. I relax, get things done around the house, and then we host a big BBQ on Monday because we live on the parade route.

Not this year though. I went to the ER yesterday for stomach pains and they’re keeping me for tests and a possible surgery for my gallbladder. Keep me in your thoughts this weekend.

The upside is that I’m getting lots of reading done while I’m just waiting around.

35559 1) What is everyone's favorite reading format? (ebook/paperback/hardcover/audiobook/other)
I usually read whatever copy I can get my hands on either through the library or other sources. Some genres I prefer to listen to the audiobook - memoirs and thrillers. Sometimes the narrator can throw me off and I need to read the copy instead.

2) Do you have any specific or particular/peculiar reading "rituals" or habits?
I can't really read before bed. It just wakes me up and I end up staying up too late. I always check the page numbers and chapter numbers as I'm reading to track how close I am to the end and how the story is progressing.
