35559 This was a Halloween-filled weekend with a costume party on Friday and another last night. The weather was great both nights, so we were able to spend a lot of time outside around a fire.

Catching up on work and reading today while football is on. I can't believe it's almost the end of October!

35559 Follow-up Question - What is the scariest movie you've seen? Mine is The Strangers.

35559 Love getting to know you all through these fun questions!

-The Munsters or The Addams Family? Addams Family

-Favorite Halloween costume(s) from your sordid past? I actually think I'm better at Halloween costumes as an adult than I ever was when I was younger. Some faves include Redneck lottery winner, Flo from Progressive (my husband was Jake from State Farm), and the Wet Bandits from Home Alone.

-Are you dressing up this year? Yes! We have two parties this weekend. This year we are going as Price is Right contestants

-Do you like candy corn, or think it is an abomination? I like it. I think the autumn mix is superior. I haven't been able to find it this year to get my one bag fix.

-Which was scarier- Alien or The Exorcist? I never saw Alien and its been a really long time since I've seen the Excorcist.

-Favorite season of American Horror Story? I've only ever seen the summer camp season and it was just ok. Friends tell me i should watch other seasons, so it's on my list.

-If you have kids, are you going trick or treating with them? No kids.

-Can you do the skeleton dance? Lol I have no idea

-Have you ever contemplated painting black stripes on your orange kitty-cat? No cat, but we did dress our dogs up as Thing 1 and Thing 2 one year

35559 Carrie, I am so sorry! I am thinking of you and your family and sending virtual hugs. I hope the good memories you have can help bring you comfort in the days ahead 💜

35559 -Sparkling water or flat? Sparkling!

-Flavored water or plain? Usually plain, but sometimes I will add Liquid IV if I feel like I haven't had enough water or am feeling dehydrated for some reason (aka a little hungover).

-Bunny slippers or socks around the house when it is cold? Slippers and socks during the winter time. During the summer, I have flip flop slippers I wear.

-Mounds or Almond Joy? Neither.

-Do you buy Halloween candy that you like in case there are leftovers? Or, do you buy stuff that will not tempt you?
We don't really get trick-or-treaters at my house, so we don't usually buy any Halloween candy. My husband has a major sweet tooth so we always have taffy type candy here.

-Horror movies or RomComs?
Usually RomComs. I only really watch horror movies in October, and even then not TOO scary.

35559 Sundays are the mutual day off my husband and I have together (I’m off Saturday and Sunday, he’s Sunday and Monday) so we usually spend the day at home in comfy clothes watching football or catching up on tv shows.

Happy Sunday, team!

Thank you for clarifying! I think that's where I always get it mixed up - beginning of the challenge vs. beginning of the round.

I'll wrap up my current read and pick what's next for the challenge!

35559 Can someone remind me - can I use the book I started today for the challenge if I finish after the start? Or is it only books that are started and ended after the start of the challenge? I can never remember.

Depending on the answer, I'll either rush to finish Tom Lake today, or take my time with it.

I've heard so much about this book, but just haven't gotten around to picking it up. Maybe I need to add it to my list for this challenge!

I saw a teaser yesterday for a tv adaptation of Black Cake, which I really liked. It will be on Hulu this fall.

35559 Hi everyone! I'm Sharon from Northeast Pennsylvania. I have done Wheel-a-Thon before and am looking forward to being on Team Punk!

I am married to Zach and we have a super cute puppy, Millie (although she's 13, so maybe not technically a puppy). By day, I am the director of our local community foundation. I usually read literary fiction, mystery/thriller, chick-lit, and historical fiction. I like reading and listening to books, especially listening to celebrity memoirs.

For the concert/music questions:
-First concert was Jimmy Buffett.
-Most recent concert (and best concert) was Outlaw Fest with Willie Nelson and Chris Stapleton.
-I grew up on country music and am still a huge fan. Like all millennials, I also love 90s and early 2000s music as well. I am not really a fan of heavy metal.

-When you are entering a room to ovations and applause, what is the theme song playing in the background? This is a GREAT question! I'm going to have to think about it and report back 😂

I just finished Unfortunately Yours by Tessa Bailey, which has a humor tag. Will that work for Thalia? If yes, can someone add it to the spreadsheet? I can’t get to a computer anytime soon.

35559 Just checking in to say that I'm still here and trying to get some reading in. Last week was hectic, but I'm hoping to have more free time this week to contribute some books. You all are doing a great job!!

I just read this in February, so I can't help with the reading. But I can say it's a great book and would recommend for anyone else thinking about reading it! 😊
