Seriously, Person 1, you *already have an account* and you would know that if you just checked your email FROM 2017.And Person 2, why are you now asking me to create an account for person 1 when YOU ARE THE ACTING SYS ADMIN.
*headdesk*

I have found a ca..."Oof! Capybara was on there but it (and 3 others) got deleted when I was mucking around with the rows. I am so glad you mentioned it! I have added those animals back :D
Also, @AllisonOMG, the cover of the next book you just added.
Too bad it’s not red or it’d be a Sin Bingo for sure, with that level of grab-ass!
Ah, see I was convinced that you wouldn’t comment so fast, else I would not have commented at you first! 😁Re the Dan Brown book, I believe you are thinking of Dark Age, which was approved as brown after much back and forth as to it being gold. But this one is not brown enough, I think with all the black and red bits.
All good on the rest. And hey, if Sarum only works for Sin Specification... you could always save the last chapter for Week 3 mini-challenge if there’s an animal somewhere in it! 5 or 7 points is better than 1!
ETA nevermind! You marked Sarum finished while I was typing. 🤪
@Allison, way to go finishing stuff! I hope you are feeling better :)The two books you just added are good to go, except that I am not sure if I would consider the Dan Brown one a brown enough cover. I saw it’s Contemporary as well, so I used that, but let’s see what others think, especially Jessi :D
I am leaving in a few minutes to get a Flu Shot.Fun.
But right afterwards I will take myself out for lunch and reading :D
See, I may be online earlier in the morning, but Jessi has the shinier, eye-catchinger, more awesomest posts :DI would add -- don't get TOO crazy with the animal hunting, if you already have some Long Books/Sin Bingos/Color Covers planned. It'd be great to get one or two "collections" of tricky animals, but not necessarily at the expense of high Page Count points, or burning through all your color covers.
As for this week, I will finish the 2nd book I put on the spreadsheet and will try for a 3rd but no guarantees. FWIW, if I can't hit even 3 measly books this week, I'll try for 5 next week!
I have a short book that would otherwise work only for Sin Specification (1 point) but happens to have both "Hermit Crab" and "Sea Urchin" in it (either one is worth 7 points)! Score!
Just have to wait and see which of those animals to use it for, since it can only be one (i.e., cannot claim both for 14 points).
Attention Team!Week 3 we will have our first
Mini Challenge!!!
It is an animal scavenger hunt!
Please read all those rules carefully. Jessi and I can fill you in if you have any questions. Maybe we’ll do a sticky post.
We also have some Team Ira strategy ideas :)

Okay. Your edition says 912 pages on GR but spreadsheet said 1015. Fixed.
Was quietly hoping the higher page count was correct but it’s all to the good either way ;)

Don’t forget to check on your Kushiel’s Dart edition/page count match when you have a chance :)
@Joanne - I am probably just too fast on the Spreadsheet while you are still shelving your book, but can you add Salt to the Sea to your TT shelf please? :D
Jessi wrote: "Joanne wrote: "Is this enough blue to count?
"I don't think there is enough blue. :/ The water is blue and maybe some of the clouds too but it's hard to tell."
To me that is one blue cover.
(Was just checking if anyone had asked about this book anywhere, cuz Joanne just finished it.)
But if other people don't think so I will leave the Sin Justification as-is. ;D
Yay BOMs!I almost finished my book during lunch. Only about 20 min left probably. Argh, it is already Wednesday. And I will be busy most of Saturday with birthday stuff for my partner.
*may need to choose between reading only 1 more long book this week VS reading 2 shorter ones which would at least include Save the Date!*
*headhands*
We're not allowed to take color questions to the captains group anymore. I wish someone had raised the BOM Save the Date before the color lock-out, but I think most people were not thinking that far ahead to whether they would read it.Also, in my case, I would never in a million years have thought this was not brown. I was basically asking the team as a formality, as I might read it for this week instead of next.
One other team (Gluttony) has someone who read it last week, but I can't see what sin they used it for because of spreadsheet lock-outs, so I just left a comment to ask them :)
Hi Team Gluttony!Team Ira was wondering what sin you used Save the Date for?
We can see someone on your team read it on 7 Oct but can't see the details because the spreadsheet has locked the Week 1 books out of sight.
Thank you!
Jessi -- double Captain Pants day?Are people not enlarging the image, or what? The thumbnail looks black but when you embiggen, it is hella brown.
We can't ask in Captains group, but we CAN quietly stalk other teams and see what they're using the book for. If enough others are also seeing brown, I will put on my Captain Pants and declare it Brown. Which would mean we could all use it for Brown.
This is definitely one of those rare cases where I wish we could use The Website That Cannot Be Named, because it is in full agreement with my color assessment. ;P
