My CARS book will be finished this afternoon, and I can grab a couple of spell outs after that

I also have Curse of the Spellmans I could use for CARS and I do already have this book as well.

I have Stowed Away That is #6 in a series. I took the library loan on the chance we want to use it.

I agree. I would also have liked to know what happened with Annie. And I would have liked to hear what the crowd reaction was to the announcement that there would another hunger game and that they were approved by the victors. How would they have made the justification, especially after the final stage of the war. How could they think people would except it.

I'm on the Haymitch band wagon as well. He cracks me. Reading the book, I hear it in Woody voice. I really enjoy the sarcastic tone and that he seems to being saying what everyone else is thinking. He doesn't apologize or tiptoe. That could be an unlikable trait for a character, but he shows enough vulnerability to keep the character likeable.

I wasn't sure that I wanted to read it again either. I thought the beginning was slower and I was having a difficult time getting into the story. I was about halfway through before I felt engaged in the story. But I felt like it finished strong, so I would say I enjoyed it overall.

My battle book is finished. I hated it (that doesn't happen often), but happy it worked for the battle! I'll report it shortly :)

The top left corner of the team spreadsheet is a combined countdown for both the mini and round 2. That is what I keep my eye on.

I filled a book for #14 and could fill in the Sci-Fi if needed. I'll check later today when I finish the #14 book in case someone else wants to grab it first
