Sorry, just got to work. I haven't recorded anything on GoodReads because I was reading for pleasure. I will add them so you can see where we are.
I forgot we couldn't back up to group two task, thanks for the reminder. Also, The teams in the top level might be laying low and might add all their books today. I would be sneaky that way. So we may not be anywhere near 1st place in the higher level. Just a thought.
I finished two tv series and read one long book so I definitely have time to read more. That said, I want us to have fun in a competitive way. I like that that the books can be 100 pages and 3 hours. I also have been using much longer books. I'll add my books now.

I have finished 2 and am half hour from finishing another. I also took time away to watch Mindhunter so I could have finished more. And I’ll read another one today.

Before spell it out words I think we need to finish group two if we were considering moving up this round. I have to feed the dogs but will look at the requirements when I’m done

I feel like this pace is sustainable. I didn't have to push it to read my books for round 1. I could start and finish a book tomorrow. I have a 10 mile run :)

Same here for me. But I will double check mine as well. And I'll stick with reading two books in Group II if you want to work on the Spell it outs.

And I found 2 book s that can be used for Group 2 Task 3 Read a book with something nasty on the cover (open to interpretation) and that contains the word LEMON in the text or title. So I added my name to that task as well. I can give up task 4 if needed.

So I added my name to task 4 in group 2. I'll look for a book that works for task 3 in case I need to do that one also or switch to that one.
For group 1 I added my name to A and D of the spell it out but I have something for every letter. I can switch if needed.

Are we doing all 4 tasks in group 1 and 2? if we are, I can fill my name in.

I'm happy with it either way. I can read that one of start a bunch of books, I normally have about 6-8 books going at one time, so business as usual for me.

I deleted my post with the book image. Might as well keep that one in our pocket

I have something for green writing and acid in title as well as something green on cover and acid in author name unless you really want to do those and I could certainly look for tasks 2 & 3 instead :) I'm open.

You guys are great at figuring all that number stuff out. Makes my head spin :)

I took them all from the BOM list. So I could read for any letter, In group 2, I have a book that would work for task 1 (green wirting on cover and ACID in the title) and if we can use Richard Bachman (Pseudonym), Stephen King (Goodreads Author) I have one for task 4 (something green on cover and ACID in author name)

I have books ready to go for all 4 letters in group one. I know we only need two but this way I have them if someone else would like to read for one of the letters. They are all on my to read shelf so I'd be reading them eventually anyway.

I can post them but I thought I would wait until out 1st place furor died out a bit

I have my books for tasks 1-3 downloaded and ready to go. I'll look for books for the next two stages and see what I can cover.

I believe Sophie is reading the final R book. She said she would let us know Saturday if it looks like she can't finish it. I have something set aside in case that happens.

I worry about screwing up so I would like to ask a couple of questions. I didn't think we lost any points. Do we need to regenerate? And I'm confused how the ladder works. And would someone confirm for me that this list https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/7...
is where I can take a book for task #1. See, that is why I did not want to be captain LOL.
And I am happy to read for tasks 1-3

@Sophie: if you need help with that R on Saturday, I can do it. I set something aside that I could finish no problem.

And I am good for 3 books. To be honest, I think I have a book for most of the tasks. I just got home from a run. I'm going to have a snack and then will look over the new set of tasks and I'll post what I find.

Alright. I recorded my last book unless someone wants to grab one of the remaining letters. Great work teammates :)
