If my eyes are not deceiving me, we now have all the shelves to complete Bingo (pattern type 4). We only need to read all the books.

I just scrolled through the whole list and itcs not there. But A Court of Wings and Ruin is. So I will read that.

Just to check something so there is no misunderstanding. You said it has to be in top shelves. Like shelf must be visible on first page of shelves listed for that book or there is a minimum of people that tagged that book? I thought if anyone tagged it with that shelf it's good to go.

Spot: Kickass Heroine
How it fits: shelved 3 times as kickass-heroine

Colbana Files series is my latest urban fantasy 'find'. Blade Song, the first book in series, was very good for a self-published novel and I was looking forward to reading more.

Night Blade was very improved compared to Blade Song.
- Plot was more focused.
- There is no slow start.
- All the characters I got to know are again here.
- A lot of action.
- Intriguing mystery.

One thing that really annoyed me is how the book ends. It's a big unexpected development and definitely added intense can't-put-it-down element to the book. On the other hand, I feel so sorry for all the bad things that happen.

After that ending, I had to grab Broken Blade right away to find out what happens next.

Ok so I decided to do some serious study of our bingo card. Since we are a lot late with some shelves, I thought I could do a little analysis so Monica can know which books to read first.

There are 4 combinations that can make a Bingo. With our current stamped shelves, we have:
Bingo1: 7 out of 11 (one more if we read Steampunk)
Bingo2: 6 out of 11 (two more if we read ONYR and Shifters)
Bingo3: 8 out of 11 (one more if we read Assassins)
Bingo4: 6 out of 11 (4 more if we read Assassins, ONYR, Steampunk & Shifters)

Believe it or not, we are very close to a Bingo, we need only one field for Bingo4, when we have all shelves read that is.

One thing that I picked up is that Kickass Heroine shelf does not influence any Bingo pattern. So Monica you can skip reading it for now and concentrate on others.
ETA: By the new rules, we must read ALL shelves to achieve Bingo, so disregard this.
