Grace Draven is one of my favorite if not even my favorite fantasy-romance author. So I was eagerly waiting for Phoenix Unbound to be released.
LIKES:
✔ Well-developed world.
✔ Realistic characters.
✔ Slow-burning romance.
DISLIKES:
✘ There is an area called 'Stara Dragana'. While it does not mean squat to non-Serbian readers, to me it meant 'Old Dragana' and my name is Dragana... So it irritated me every time I read it. >.<
While Phoenix Unbound did not blow my mind like Radiance, it was well written and I mostly enjoyed reading it. Recommended for fans of fantasy romance genre.

Will try to squeeze these two series soon.

Burned was the least action filled book in Fever series. I felt like all that happened is Mac following people around and re-telling us what they are doing. Or Mac whining how she is not doing nothing.
My mistake was reading Burned immediately after Iced I think that made the switch of narration back to Mac more painfully. I liked Dani as a main narrator much more.
Well, let's hope narration switches back to Dani in the next one...

I add alerts for price drops on Bookbub and then buy them when they drop. For example part #2 is currently just $2.39 right now.

This series was a pleasant surprise. I expected something kinky with a lot of sex like The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty and instead I got a lot of court intrigues. Something like Kushiel's Dart... The second book was good or maybe even better then Captive Prince.
