i finished Spirit Bound for the fantasy paranormal shelf. Five stars. Sigh. I forgot how much i enjoyed the beginning of this series. Only one more book left! this book wrapped me up and wouldn't let me go. The end has a huge cliff hanger! I need to finish up some of the other books i am reading so i can go get that last book.

i just checked out Spirit Bound so i will be reading that for this shelf.

I finished Fins Are Foreveri give it four stars.9/4/11.I like the story line and the characters. I really liked the way the main character was shown to not be perfect. How she has untameable hair and a hard time handling stress. I will be looking for more from this author.

i will be reading Fins Are Forever for the supernatural shelf. It will also help me get a mermaid book for the 11/11/11 challenge.

i finished Red-Headed Stepchild9/2/11 and give it four stars. i liked this book alot and am interested in reading the rest of the series. i like the characters and felt like they developed nicely

Vivian, good for you for giving up on that particular audio book. I couldn't stop listening to it, even as i hated it. I am glad to know that i am not the only one who didn't like it.

i will also be reading red headed step child but for some reason goodreads can't located it at the moment.Red-Headed Stepchildha found it! silly me for putting a space between step and child!

I love audio books but I hated listening to dark prince! Though to be fair I think I would have hated the book anyway. I am not too much of a fan for the whole damsel in distress idea.
I have just started reading an anthology called naked city and am eagerly waiting for the next shelf.

i finished Foreverand give it two and a half stars. Finished on 8/22. As i was reading this book, i thought well, hey, maybe this series is finally getting better. For some reason, this book was not as dreadful as the first two for me. However, there was still some things that had me rolling my eyes. I think the author needs to work on teen perspective more. What Really made the stars go down on this book however was the ending. Not going to give any spoilers here but i was extremely annoyed at it.

i just finished Kiss of Snow and give it five stars. 8/17. Many times i get annoyed when i am deep into a series and find that a book tells the story of more than one main character. While that happened in this book, it was done expertly, in a way that didn't take a way from any of the characters. I have been waiting a long time to read about Hawke and about Sienna so it was extremely nice to have my questions of them answered. I will continue to read this series.

Lizz, that is a good one. Unfortunately I felt that as the series goes on it actually becomes worse I stead of better. I am eager to hear what you think after you get further in.

ladies, i have finished Acheron for the dark shelf. Five stars. Wow. This is by far the best book i have read by this author. So much emotion, so much depth. I am in awe. i almost want to reread the earlier books just so i can see them in this new light. Definitely recommend this book. 8/11/11

i finished Shadowfever on 8/5.★★★★★. this book was amazing and continuously kept me hungry for more! There always seemed to be interesting twists and turns. The series is over for me now, which is sad, but i am glad you guys gave me ideas on others to read by the same author.

Also, we didn't win big in Vegas, but we did come home with fifty bucks still in our travel fund, so that was that nice. Had a great time!
