I finished On the Hunt for the angels shelf. 10/19. three and a half stars. This certainly wasn't my favorite anthology ever, but it wasn't horrible either. The first story, Evernight, by gena showalter, was probably my favorite. I would read more books set in this world. The second story, the Collector, by shannon k. butcher, seemed to lack development for me, so i will not be looking further into these stories. I understand that writing a short story for an anthology would be a special kind of challenge, and that i tend to judge them harshly. The third story is the Crystal Skull, by Jessica Andersen. I am a little on the fence with this one, i May read the other books in the series, but probably won't go looking for them. The last story in this book is the one that had the angels in it. It is called Red Angel and is by ddeidre Knight. I really enjoyed this story and would read more set in this world.

i finished Voices of Dragons for the dragon shelf.10/10. four stars. I really enjoyed this book and hope there will be another one. I think that the author took a lot of care in development in the main character. I often find myself annoyed at young adult books because i feel that the authors make teens out to be either helpless or too mature. I think that this author struck the exact right balance. I am very impressed.

finished Eternal Kiss of Darknessfor the urban fantasy shelf. 10/2. five stars. this book leaves me hungry for more books in this world. I love that this series is developing the characters that we have already met in the other series. Kira is really interesting and i can't wait to find out if she becomes a guardian.

i finished My Soul to Take for my first in series shelf read. i give it four stars. I liked the characters, though i felt like i would enjoy more development of them. This book was a quick and easy read for me and i will be reading the rest of the series.

i finished The Sea of Monsterson 9/25. three and half stars. I was annoyed that this book was titled the sea of monsters, when the sea of monsters was actually a very small part of this book. I also felt like the book didn't really start until about half way through it. I will however keep reading the series.
