Arwyn Cassandra Corey, the Sea Wicche of Monterey, is a clairvoyant, hence the Cassandra part of her name.
She's just joined the Corey Council of Witches, and one of the first things on their agenda is find her cousin, Calliope, who is a Sorcerer and trying to kill as many Corey witches as possible.
Then there is Declan, her werewolf alpha boyfriend, who needs to deal with the local pack.
Not to mention the Police Detectives who don't know they are after 2 psychopaths who have been killing for 10 or so years. Until Arwyn tells them.
Arwyn is at the centre of all the plots, as her visions keep giving everyone clues about their problems. Unfortunately that doesn't leave much space for Arwyn to finish her Art Gallery before the grand opening.
Lots of action, lots of family, lots of visions, lots of murders, lots of baking, and a missing dad who turns up when called.

A very enjoyable romp with witches of all kinds, a tiger shifter, FBI, murders, bad singing, kitty cat, crooked police, ex-commandos and a pawnshop with lots of goodies.
Jack Shepherd, a tiger shifter & ex-soldier, comes home to Dead End Florida, to find his uncle dead and that he's inherited half of the pawn shop. The other half of the pawn shop is owned by Tess.
There is non-stop action, great secondary characters and a very quirky town.
Looking forward to more stories of Dead End.
Yes to both, Nora's books are contemporary, despite psychic elements, definitely not paranormal. And yes Space Opera would also work.
