I'm so excited that you enjoyed this one Felicia!

I am really enjoying Finley. She's a delight to read for me. I like female leads who are strong but also have their own struggles to middle through.

@ Everyone- I agree that the characters are written well and with their own identity. Love them all and looking forward to more!

For anyone who is reading this or plan to... I don't think it's necessary to read the prequel first. Many times I prefer not to read the prequel first because it normally lacks the romance or the "love interest" parts that I really enjoy. For instance, you will not get Griff or Jack Dandy!


So my opinion.... first book first!

@ Kristi- Gush away. This book was extremely interesting!

@ Felicia- I agree with you which is why I stayed away from Scifi.... but I've noticed that there are Authors out there who can write anything and I will love it. But, yes, I get what you mean about being bogged down with too much description.

LOL. I think of the brothers he is the most sensible one... but I read PNR/UF for the crazy kind of characters!! LOL!

I'm curious.... what was your (who ever) initial thoughts of E, Talia and any of the other characters introduced so far?

I agree. I wish I was attending AAD!! I have book one in the Storm series by Sydney Croft. Cant wait!

LOL. I really love Gin's catch phrases!

My favorite quote from this section is the part where i can see the cover image clearL

Page 68-69: "Hidden in the shadows, I stared at the front door of the Pork Pit. The neon pig glowed in the dark night, its pink lights taking on a blood-red tinge."

Btw, one of my favorite quotes from this section is at the start of chapter 15:

Page 182: " Distinct fingertip bruises ringed my throat, a macabre of purple jewels."

LOL. Yes. But is it weird that I really like that they had a fling in the past. *I really hope that has been revealed already* I like it because well Finn is described very handsome but also because I don;t want anything to happen between them now. It's a "been there done that already so no thanks" deal.

My 3 favorite lines in this book:

Sloppy. Sloppy. Sloppy.
Damn and double damn.
Gray on gold.

Mab has become the perfect villain. Jennifer has done a great job building her up and after reading this book I know readers will be more curious to continue on.

JoJo is quite a character and her sister too. They add another layer to this series that I really enjoy!

Gin is such a take charge kind of gal. I really love the bro/sis moment.

I didnt know that either and now I feel bad for smushing them!!

I'm curious what does everyone think of the spider rune for Gin? How about her nickname Gin!?
