32418 oh man Kaylani, I hope when you get the test result everything is clear and everything else gets better! Sending virtual hugs!

32418 hahahaha...Maybe the winter air will help!

32418 started this a few days ago. Enjoying it enough, liking the first one better though...
This Shattered World (Starbound, #2) by Amie Kaufman
Oct 22, 2015 03:26PM

32418 I think there is something in the air!

32418 I actually didn't make that much of a dent yet on this. booo...

I did recently finish...
The Isle of Blood (The Monstrumologist, #3) by Rick Yancey The House of Hades (The Heroes of Olympus, #4) by Rick Riordan Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer Sapphire Blue (#2 Red Ruby Trilogy) by Kersten Gier

I actually didn't know I have so many unfinished series!

32418 HAROLD: wow, Step 7 is intense!

Nice thread. Need to think about this for sure.

Although Hogwarts will definitely be on my list. I'm not waiting for my letter anymore, but at least an invitation to go to Diagon Alley ^_^

32418 wow Heidi, I'm surprised you're a D&D fan!

BRIGID: I'm on the fence about that book. I've heard so many good things about it, but with your description, makes me not want to pick it up.

32418 I know what you guys all mean! There's just not enough time to read. hahahaha...I try to read as much as I can too, but I just feel like I'm not making a dent on my TBR pile. argh. At least I'm 'on track' with my GR challenge, but that's only because I've been sneaking in a few graphic novels.
32418 no probs

32418 I feel like that was a unanimous decision! ^_^

So I guess we need to make a list, but maybe in December will be better.

32418 Well, maybe I'll still try it out, but get it from the library now. ^_^

Just finished...
Hollow City (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #2) by Ransom Riggs Sapphire Blue (Precious Stone Trilogy, #2) by Kerstin Gier
Hollow City was pretty good, better than the first. Sapphire Blue was a bit of a disappointment. It was boring and slow paced. I really hate all the romance in it. Really, really, really hate it.

Currently Reading...
The Wicked Will Rise (Dorothy Must Die, #2) by Danielle Paige
Just started it, but from what I've been reading so far, its good!

32418 BRIGID: awwww...I'm sad you said that. I've been meaning to pick it up before Christmas to read it, now I'm doubting it.
Oct 12, 2015 01:11PM

32418 HEIDI: I didn't even connect those three books together, I dislike Divergent, Twilight AND Mortal Instruments.
32418 SHANNEN: I wasn't much of a fan with Cinder, but Scarlet sold me in. Definitely a must read series!

TOMMY: a great idea on you the next Top 5. If you want you can create the post of it.
32418 Here is my list in no particular order:

1. Luna Lovegood - Harry Potter Series
2. Katniss Everdeen - Hunger Games Trilogy
3. Anne Shirley - Anne of Green Gables
4. Elizabeth Bennet - Pride and Prejudice
5. Samwise Gamgee - Lord of the Rings

Honorable Mention:
Annabeth(Percy Jackson Series), Roc(Dweller Series), Jacky(Bloody Jack Series), Zuzana(Daughter of Smoke and Bone)

32418 DONNA: Nice pick! Definitely a great choice!
32418 oooo..nice one Heidi.

Yea, we haven't been doing one lately. Sorry I'm behind on things this month -_-'

32418 I've only read a couple of chapters...actually just four, but I feel that Hollow City is flowing a lot better than the first book. One of my concerns on the fist one was that the pictures seems forced in the first book. This doesn't seem like an issue with this one.

32418 I'm currently reading...
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #1) by Ransom Riggs
I didn't really like the first books, but I heard that the second book is better. So I might as well give it a try.
