Victoria sighed and stood up, shoving the dog aside to show she had, at the time, no interest in Mozart. She clapped again and smiled.
Clap.
Step.
That's what I needed. Thank you, police officer-people.
Pointing over to the same entrance Roshala had come in.
Not but five seconds later a small squad of police spirnted onto the premises, there squeaky sneakers sounding through out the empty building corridors.
Voices were heard.
"Where did she go?"
"I think thatta way."
"Should we check?"
"No duh we should check, wingnut."
"Just checking, officer."
"Come on, newbie."
The trampling of feet could be heard once more.
Victoria crossed her arms and smiked, satisfied.
Lorelei hesitated. "What do you mean?" She whispered back.

Rosa sighed. "Do you really think she'd be that old?"
Victoria sighed. What does he want with me? She looekd up and pulled her hands out in front of her. She clapped once.
Clap.
Step.
She pointed over to a small opening behind some boxes. She smiled menically, but it was, of course, a false glare.
Roshala slid through the boxes and saw the girl pointing at her. "She has a good range of hearing. She could work."
Mozart barked.
Victoria clasped her hands around the dogs neck and whimpered in fright. She quickly corrected herself by sitting up and looking confident.
Rosa face-palmed herself. She shook her head and looked up. "The dog is her aid. He helps her around because she can't here."

Trista put her hand on her freind's shoulder. "Crystal..."
Crystal shook off her hand. "No, Trista! If we want to help them, we have to kow what we are helping them hide from."

Roshala walked after them, letting them run out their steam. "No luck running from me." She lifted her hand to lift Laurel from the ground and then shot her hand back down to her side, letting Laurel fall back down.
Lorelei looked back at Laurel. "Laurel!" She took a deep breathe and spead her hands out in front of her. An aray of trees clouded the path behind them. "Hopefully we can back-track her." She raised her hands to her right an another cluster of woodland sprouted into the sky, cutting off their path. "We need to go left." She mocked a whisper to her abilities and started trudging on. "If you want to stay alive, I suggest you better follow."She knew she sounded mysterious, but she only wanted to protect herself and the other girl. Maybe Laurel knew something that would help her find Victoria. Maybe...

Rosa veered into the parking lot of an abandoned bakery. She slammed the door after her and came around to Victoria. Opening the door, she grabbed Victoria from behind and held her arms behind her back before kicking the door shut behind them.
Victoria opened her mouth to scream, but realized otherwise.
Rosa sighed and shook ehr head. Deaf's are such blondes. She dragged Victoria in.
Victoria's eyes widened as they came into the factory. She glanced around. And where was Mozart?! He was in the car! She mustered up enough strength to stretch back and clap once.
Clap.
Pad.
Clap.
Bark.
She smiled and looekd around to see the shadow of a dog pass them. She faintly whistled as she could and the dog padded over.
Rosa narrowed her eyes. "Get out of he- Oh! It's that mutt. Come one, dog."
Mozart followed.
Rosa nodded and came to confront Galrick and plopped Victoria down. "I have the deaf one and her dog."
Mozart barked, standing protectively beside Victoria.

Lorelei stood up and gulped. "I-I'm Lorelei. And you?" She asked. She stood up and looked at a nearby bush. She didn't care. Twisting her hand, the bush folded into a chair shape. She sat down to catch her breath. "There you have it. A paranormal. If you've never seen one, you have now. There's more like me. I'm sure of it."

Crystal came into the room, eyes narrowed. "I don't think so. What are you hiding?"
